Bodybuilding Posing Practice 13 Weeks Out…

Bodybuilding Posing Practice 13 Weeks Out…

This is a video clip I took last night during my posing practice. I’m currently 13 weeks out from the 2010 Atlantic Canadian Bodybuilding Championships. I’m 216 pounds right now and plan on dieting down to about 195 pounds for the show.

I’m going to be posting up progress pics and video clips like this every few weeks during my entire contest prep to help hold myself accountable to follow through and actually do what I say I’m going to do. Hopefully this will also help to motivate and inspire you as well to kick your training and nutrition into high gear and get in your personal best shape ever as well.

And if you’d like to know exactly the kind of pre-contest diet plan I’m following, etc. I have it all outlined in my book “Your First Bodybuilding Competition”

  • Hi Lee

Your prep all seems to be going in the right direction and thats great to see. just a quick tip on bringing up the biceps peak and overall mass! I saw great results from doing heavy barbell or dumbbell curls followed by two exercisesfor the biceps peak, i liked preacher curls followed by hammer curls. After these exercises i go to the cable crossover and put the handles at the bottom position. take a handle in each hand and step forward one step, bend your torso towards the floor so your nearly facing the floor. now curl the cables (at peak contraction your arms should be about just parallel with the floor) and concentrate on your biceps getting pumped bigger with each rep. I like to do this as the last bicep exercise and do up to five sets! You DONT need to go heavy but keep the blood in the biceps between sets by hitting a double biceps pose before jumping into the next set. Believe me by the fifth set your biceps should be shoving the veins through your skin and you biceps looking bigger than before. This bicep routine not only added mass and peak to my arms but also the people i have trained and used it.

anyway keep at it with the possitive attitude youv got and you will get the results! Victory is there for the taking, ALWAYS.

Hello Lee! To be fair the video would not give a true reflection of your physique, though you lookin good proportion 19lbs will definately see you cut and in shape with a good taper at the waist! With all respect areas you could work on a little thickening of the back area to go with your symmetry and width! A bit more size on your quads, thickness is great from the side, just a little more sweep to the front! Like I said the video dosen’t do justice like the view in real life! But you are loking at cutting nearly 20lbs this willl help to bring peak to your bis and tris! Hope it goes brilliantly! Dave
