Total Fitness Bodybuilding Spotlight – “Alejandro Buzzi”

Today’s blog post is a unique one…

While I normally focus my blog content around sharing quality muscle building workout tips and bodybuilding diet advice, and that’s probably the reason you are here now. However, all that “How To” stuff is based around one thing:

Actually Putting Those Training Tips To Use And Getting In Your Best Shape Ever!

So today I’m going to shine the spotlight on one of my online followers who has been taking action and making some impressive gains in the gym.

Below are some pictures and an e-mail that I received recently from Alejandro Buzzi.

I wanted to share his success story with you because it’s an inspirational example of
Real People Getting Real Results!

Alejandro Buzzi’s Muscle Building Physique Transformation!

Hello Lee,

My name is Alejandro I’m a Latino-American, 29 years old, and I’ve recently fell in love with Bodybuilding. I lifted weights on and off for a while and played sports, but NEVER in conjunction with a proper muscle building diet, so my results weren’t that good.

A few years back my life made a complete turn. I got married, had a son, and then left my home country for them both. We moved to Austria in Europe and I can tell you it is not easy to leave your life behind so fast to start a completely new one – new people, new language, new customs, and a new job in another part of the world.

During this time I was digging myself into a deep hole physically. I was eating really bad and didn’t do any sort of exercise at all and as you can imagine I gained a lot of weight with this kind of lifestyle. And it eventually got to the point where I was sick and tired of the way I looked and felt. I was embarrassed to take my shirt off, I hated the way my body looked, and I finally said “Enough is enough… I MUST do something about my situation and take charge of my life.”

So with the help of my wife I started a basic workout and diet program. She is a personal trainer who helped me with the basics, and she also gave me lots of information that she got from your website and YouTube videos. This is how I got to know about you. My wife and I are big fans of yours 🙂

The thing I really like about your program is how you explain things and make everything seem easier, rather than making things more complicated like the way most trainers do.

I started working out and following your program 4 months ago and I made some very good changes. Now maybe for some people it doesn’t seem like much, but for me it was an amazing feeling because I’ve never been in this kind of shape before, not even when I was playing basketball as a teenager. Seeing good results like this just motivates me to push myself even harder, and I look forward to every day of my life.

Now I’m in love with this sport, it fills me with energy and will power, and it has taught me that everything worth while takes time to achieve and that certainly applies to bodybuilding. I’m naturally a very impatient person, but every bit of progress I make just helps to motivate me even more.

I’m currently following your training program and meal plan, and I am very happy with it. One of my future goals is to become a Fitness Model, I would love to participate in drug free competitions. That is my goal. Working out has given me a new life, so I want to give it 100% and be the best I can be.

Thanks Lee for all your help and support, you’ve been a big part in helping me make this change!

I’ve sent you some pictures of my progress so that you can see.

Your fan,
Alejandro Buzzi

Wow this guy looks great! I am a little skeptical of this being a transformation in 4 months. Please let me know the actual period of time these photos took place over. As usual Lee, keep up the great work you do for all of us; you’re the best!

  • Mikey

Great job. This guy got serious and made serious progress with advice from a respectable coach.

to Richard…. Everyone can look way better when they get ripped. We all have muscle underneath and it becomes impressively noticable when bodyfat drops under 10%. Having said that, 4 months is a long time in transforming the body if you get all areas of your routine covered. This guy took it serious with advice from Lee Hayward on his Total Fitness bodybuilding site and the rewards are showing. Respect.

    Richard,

Hey Richard, that pic was actually after the week 14th, first 10 were fat loss and the other 4 were already mass gain, didnt want to look skinny and no shape.

I am 68yrs of age.I cannot follow any diet program because I’m Diabetic altho I have always eaten very cleanly!I don’t really want to lose any wt. but I would love to get more muscular. It seems to come much slower, probably because of my age!I workout almost nightly & would appreciate any tips that you might be able to give.I don’t particularly want to get in competition type shape but I like to stay very muscular!I live in NH but spend my winters in Fla.It’s nice to go to the beach with my wife of 47yrs & get the looks that I get at my age!(My wife appreciates it also!) PS. I don’t belong to a gymnasium but have home gyms in NH & Fla.

  • Edward Rafuse

Great looking physique Alejandro! What will you look like in the next 16 weeks? I am anxious for you to post to Lee so we can follow your progress. All the best and follow your dreams.

  • Anushka

Chalky, what are you talking about… he is not naked, can`t you see that he is wearing short black pants? And there is really no need for the F word by the way.

  • Alejandro

Thanks everybody for the positive comments!, i am really happy to see that i can help/inspire other people!
For all who ask how did you do it? The answer is more simple that what it takes to, perseverance. You must stick to a diet and good rest, gym is ok but you only do it 1 hour per day, i learned that %70 of your progress is actually what you eat, and the most difficult part for some people can be no beer, sleep and no sugar or mc donalds. For me was easy, altho i used to eat that crap a lot. But since you start to feel and look better you suddenly adopt it as a lifestyle and leave all that behind. I understand now that bodybuilding is called generally a sport, but for the people who are stick to it, a lifestyle.
Thomas that you are 68 years old doesn’t mean that you can’t feel better. Of course don’t expect to have the same reactions from your body that a 20 years old man, it is nature. Nonetheless if you always give your best and finish each session knowing that you couldnt do more, then you should be proud of yourself.
Edward i want to see that too! i wonder, since this is all new to me, how will i look in 16 weeks, i guess i will do 12 more weeks of mass gain diet then i am gonna switch to get cut, since summer is close!
And i am not F naked… that is called a short, lol.
Thank you all again for your support, means a lot and also gives me power to keep going!
