Stay Warm & Cozy This Winter
With A Tasty Cup Of Hot Cocoa!
As the weather gets colder and the days get shorter there’s nothing better than kicking back with a nice cup of Hot Cocoa…
That deliciously warm and comforting drink is a Christmas tradition in our house. But unfortunately it can also contribute to the “holiday weight gain” that so many folks experience.
However, today you’re going to learn how to make a High Protein Hot Cocoa Recipe that’s delicious and also good for you. This hot cocoa recipe contains 20+ grams of protein with only 1 gram of fat and 1 gram of sugar!
In this video clip below my better half, Trish, will show you how to make it…

The recipe is really easy to make…
– Just boil the kettle.
– Put a scoop of chocolate protein powder into a large mug.
– Mix it with a couple ounces of low fat milk.
– Top up the mug with hot water from the kettle.
– Stir and enjoy!
That’s it, very simple and easy to make, but it tastes really good and is a fantastic alternative to regular hot cocoa that’s loaded with sugar.
So this Christmas when family and friends come over to visit, make them a high protein / low carb hot cocoa drink instead 🙂

I was wondering how I was going to get my hot cocoa in this winter without drinking that high sugary stuff I usually make. Thanks for sharing. I’m not creative enough to think of this stuff.

There are a lot of different ideas you can experiment with to jazz up your diet. Bottom line don’t be afraid to try something new, the worst case scenario is you’ll learn what NOT to do 🙂
I’d also recommend picking up a copy of the Anabolic Cooking Cookbook (if you haven’t done so already) at: http://www.AnabolicCooking.net this has over 200 healthy bodybuilding recipes that you can try.

Wow, just…wow. I am getting the feeling I have been a bit stupid for thinking I can’t enjoy my favourite cup of cocoa. Heh.
What about sweetening up with stevia? Or too sweet?
