Easy EGG Recipe – Bell Pepper Egg Rings!

If you are looking for a quick and easy breakfast idea that not only tastes good, but looks good as well…

Then give these Bell Pepper Egg Rings a try!

The great thing about bell pepper egg rings from a “Bodybuilding Nutrition” point of view, is that they are a simple way to get both high quality protein and veggies into your breakfast meal.

Here’s How To Make Em…

Ingredients:
– bell peppers (any color), cut into 1 cm thick rings
– eggs
– salt and pepper
– PAM spray or olive oil

Set the burner to medium heat and spray a nonstick frying pay with PAM (or use 1 teaspoon of oil). Add bell pepper rings, then crack 1 egg into the middle of each pepper ring. Season with salt and pepper to taste and cook until egg whites are set but yolks are still runny, usually about 2 to 3 minutes. Gently flip and cook 1 minute more for over easy egg rings.

You can get creative with this if you like and add cheese or other spices over the top.

I know what I’m having for breakfast tomorrow! Thanks!

I’d recommend against Pam though, which is canola oil, i.e., cheap quality processed oil with too much omega-6. You can get spray-on olive oil now. I’ve been using coconut oil lately, for a touch of tropical flavor 🙂

OH THATS SO GOOD THANKS FOR THAT

  • Unique and unusual twist on breakfast Lee. I love peppers for the antioxidants and taste, and there is nothing better than a sunny-side up egg. Thanks!

when I read “egg breakfast,” I was thinking… dude, c’mon, I know how to cook an egg… ya’ don godda tell me everything… but when I actually read this and saw the picture, I thought this was an absolutely great idea! I can see a lot of possibilities with this.. it could easily be like an “anything you want portable egg based pizza-thing”… seems like a ziplock bag is a good additive if you wanna take 10 of them it to the gym or wherever.
    thanks for sharing!
