100 Rep Abdominal Workout Program

One of my personal favorite ab workouts is simply taking 4 different abdominal exercises and banging out 25 reps for each exercise. It’s quick, simple, and it works great for training the abs.

Just check out the ab workout video below for all the details…

While this workout is great for training the abdominal muscles, the real key to getting those visible “six pack abs” is losing the bodyfat that’s covering them so you can actually see the muscle development underneath.

If you’d like to get some killer fat loss tips for quickly burning off that stubborn bellyfat you should pick up a copy of my “Extreme Fat Loss DVD”.

This program contains the diet and training program that I personally use to get ripped to the bone shredded for bodybuilding competitions. You can get all the details at: http://www.LeeHayward.com/dvd

    Cool workout Lee thanks.

I like doing this with cable rope crunches, hanging leg raises, swiss ball crunches and knees to chest with a dumbbells between my feet.

  • Hi Lee, Great workout video. I have been reading some e-mails sent be our freind ( Elliott Hulse ). He mentions the great strength and body builder coach Vince Gironda. Vince says that sit-ups, crunches all are waist of time. those exercises build a big stomach. the muscles Transversus Abdominis and Tracuial columbar fracture muscles. Arnold, Larry Scott trained with him and look at their stomack…flat. Look at todays bodybuilders and their stomaches are huge. Can you comment on this… Thanks Lee… Herc.

  • Cool workout Lee thanks.I like doing this with cable rope crunches, hanging leg raises, swiss ball crunches and knees to chest with a dumbbells between my feet.

Those are all awesome ab exercises as well. You can mix and match the exercises you do, change the order you do them in, etc. and it will all provide unique muscle stimulation for your abs.

The main thing with ab training is simply working the muscles consistently. You don’t need to worry about going heavier and heavier like you do with your other major muscle groups.

Everyone has their opinion. Some bodybuilders don’t even train their abs. I’m just sharing what works for me here in this video.

Another thing you need to realize is that todays bodybuilders are bigger and thicker all over. Arnold was approx. 240 pounds at 6’2″. Today’s pro’s who are over 6 feet tall generally compete at around 300 pounds. That extra mass equals bigger chests, backs, arms, legs, as well as stomaches.

  • how to increase the weight
    you are realy awesome

Great job, you can really see the muscle definition showing, especially in your back poses.

  • Like I already mentioned in the video, you can do different exercises than the ones I’m doing. Just pick 4 different ab exercises based on the equipment you have available.

Do this workout 2 or 3 times per week.

  • angel

how about if you have a bad back. i have 3 ruptured disk, can i still do any ab routines.

  • Ganesh Patil

Hea lee, thanx for the gr8 information….but my question is….does abs workout can lose fats.. and can muscle building and fat lose done at same time?
