Complete Push Up Workout That You Can Do At Home…

Push ups are one of my all time favorite exercises for building up the upper body, especially the chest, shoulders, and triceps. And the best thing about push ups (or press ups) is that they can be done practically anywhere with no equipment required.

What you’re going to get in the video below is a complete push up workout that you can do at home without any exercise equipment.

Body Lastic Bands You’re also going to get some advanced push up variations that you can do using rubber fitness bands for added resistance. And don’t worry if you don’t have a set of rubber fitness bands, because you can order your very own set of Heavy Duty Adjustable Tension Rubber Exercise Bands from:

www.BodyLasticBands.com

Push ups are great extra exercise that you can add to any workout routine to help speed up growth in the chest. So if you find that your chest is a stubborn muscle group for you, then simply doing a couple sets of push ups everyday can help spur on new muscle growth because you are regularly flushing blood and nutrients into your pectoral muscles.

    hey lee
i feel some weakness in my left shoulder. i wanna know which excersise i need to focus n which not.

Lee, some good tips there for variations in the standard press-up. Another one I do is to set my hands out well forward of the shoulders and well out to the sides, with feet wide apart as in a star shape, using push-up bars and, sometimes, raised feet. This seems to work upper chest, front delts, triceps and much of the core all in one session.

It really depends what the weakness is caused by. It could be rotator cuff issues or tendonitis that’s the root of the weakness in your left shoulder.

I’ve got a good video you should check out at:

Thanks Lee for another great video. I like the band assisted pushups a lot, especially since Trish can’t come to my house and push on my back. I also like to do pushups with my feet elevated to put emphasis on the upper pec. Thanks.

  • If you are going to get some equipment rings are a good choice. You can take them with you and there are a bunch of different push up variations you can do with them.

I tried your 100 push up challenge the other day and was surprised at how tough it was. I can bench 2x my bodyweight so I though it would be easy, by was I wrong.

I am a lover of the push up again.

    Lee,
Thanks for your tips. On point as always. I especially like the variation to take less stress off the shoulders. Still having issues with precious rotator cuff injury. This tip let me get in my push-ups with less pain afterward. Thanks again. keep the tips coming.

  • Thanks for the great tips on varying the ways to do push-ups. My chest seems to be something that I have to work on and it’s very stubborn to get in shape. I am hopeful that adding more to my routine and making the changes will bring on a difference.

  • Great press up tips Lee, always like to use variations with my clients like Alternate Press ups, T Rotational Press Ups etc… great to pick some new variations from you.
    Great work Lee
