I have been training as a powerlifter for two years and have one contest under my belt. I have definitely fallen in love with this sport, but it’s easy to get sidetracked. There is so much information out there. I am very thankful to have been introduced to the CWG program, have started it, and it’s going well. What could be a better counter part to it than this program. I want to build the biggest, stongest, best conditioned body I possibly can. I want to do this for me so that I can be a testimony and help others achieve the same. I want to be an inspiration to others and show them you can overcome the genetic roadblock, because mine suck. My three kids will be the first that I want to show this too, so they too will con’t to realize the importance of strength, power, conditioning, and over all health. I want to instill in them the importance of this and the desire to be competitive. Thanks for the opportunity.

I just turned 36 last month and I have now been working out for about 4 years now. My wife is a professional fitness model and has done several commercials (most notable – ab circle pro) and has started her own fitness company (Firstplacefitnessinc.com). She is constantly doing photo shoots and is currently on FAME’s event poster for their Miami and Las Vegas shows. I have tried SO many different programs including ones from Vince Delmonte, Mike and Elliot and even you Lee. I have made some good progress, but I still have not reached my goal which is to be asked to accompany my wife on one of her shoots instead of them choosing another guy. I went from 185lbs to 160 with just under 10% body fat, things were coming along and then I injured my hand and it has set me back 4 months now. I REALLY need a good program that really works. I want to put on a good 15 or 20 pounds of muscle and I am devoted and refuse to quit despite having 3 different workout partners join me and then give up. I have committed to a clean diet for the last 3 months now and am cleared to begin lifting again. I am tired of being average. I have tried for years now to break out of this rutt Im in and now with a third child on the way I must start NOW since my 6am workouts will suffer a bit with an infant in the house. I am VERY intersted in this program your talking about and ready to even be a guinnea pig to prove it works

I use to lift weights for the bodybuilding benefits over 10 yrs ago and once I turned 21 I fell off the weight bandwagon and started doing too many 12 oz. curls. My physique fell apart. Now I am 32 and lost my job last year in June and decided to go back to school to get a degree so I can fulfill my life long dream of being a Police Officer so naturally I knew I needed to be stronger, faster and bigger than the criminals out there so last November I joined a gym, changed my eating habits and gave up soda and alcohol. I have had noticable results but like most guys that lift I am always looking for that edge and I know with this program I can acheive the look and results I have always wanted. Personally I just wish I would have stayed with it for the ten yrs but it is what it is. Regardless of the outcome in this contest I will still lift weights and follow the advise that Lee so generously shares but if I were to win I would use this program to better myself for the sake of law enforcement. Thank you.

As a 17 year old trainee Ihave mademay mistakes in my training. Ihave overtrained, undertrained and everything in between, so I know a lot about injuries and missed PRs. The value of the knowledge that this information will give me has no measure. The two of have been sending me e-mails since i was 15 and has helped me gain 30 lbs and a whole lot of strength but i need more. I want to be a raw powerlifting world record holder and WSM but i also want to look the part. Therefore I truly believe that your training system will be just the right mixturethat will push me over the edge. I bust my butt inthe gym everyday to become the best lifter that I can be and i will continue to do so thru thick and thin. I would like to thank you two for this great opportunity and wish you well. God Bless,
    Tommy Butler

I am sixty-seven with a fair upper body and a fat stomach. There needs to be a busting through to bigger and better things!

  • I want the muscle for a bit of diffent reasons then everyone else. I am a marine and as a marine we are a brotherhood. We have a bond that no one else shares. And I don’t want to be the guy that can’t carry he’s fellow marine out fo that firefight and get him to the doc. I want the muscle so I can carry all my gear into combat because I’m gonna need it. I need the strength of my muscle to make sure I get the mission accomplished because I am the tip of the spear. Me and my fellow marines get the job done and the marines before me have given me this tradition to carry on.

Hi lee hayward, I was looking at the picture of your “before” photo. I notice a lot of similarities between that picture and myself. So what I’m saying is I am you many years ago, and after all wouldn’t you send a great program like this to your former self? I’m sure somebody helped you out and tutored you to achieve the results you have today.

  • Matt T

    Hey,

I NEED this great new program because I have been trying to gain strength and mass for about the last 3 years. When I started high school I was 6’1″ and 160. Over the past 3 years I have gained about 20 pounds or so but I am still having a hard time developing any reasonable power. I recently injured my knee playing hockey and haven’t been able to work out for 3 months. Once I get to university I will be spending a lot of time in the gym because I won’t be able to play sports. I am going to have a lot of school work so I NEED a great workout program that will give me noticeable changes in both build and strength while also being efficient.

    Thanks

    Hey Lee,

I’m on a journey to change my life around, and away from many of the bad choices and struggles in the past. I believe that a big, strong, muscular body symbolizes a person’s strength of character. A person with a strong, muscular body is often somebody who has self-discipline, self-respect, and a “never-quit” attitude. This represents the type of person in which I am striving to be on my journey through life. I am currently a student in college pursuing a degree in Exercise Science. More specifically I would like to be a fitness trainer and a strength coach. I chose this path because I wanted to help others become more disciplined, improve their attitude, and just feel better about themselves. I started seriously training about two years ago. I chose to get serious about fitness after stumbling across your website. You have helped me by teaching me all of the basics about bodybuilding and weight training. I decided to begin my fitness journey when I decided that serious changes needed to be made in my life. You taught me how to use bodybuilding as an outlet to make better life choices. I am currently stuck in a plateau and have been stuck here for some time. My gains in strength and mass have stopped and I’m making little to no improvement. I aspiring to become a competitive bodybuilder but need help. Nothing seems to be working, but your Power-Building System would be perfect. PLEASE HELP! THANKS LEE!

Hey Lee. I need to reshape my body after the toll a serious motorcycle accident took on it. Long story short I lost use of my left arm temporarily and my left bicep for a year and a half. Before surgeries it was a struggle to curl my mom’s 2.5lb purple dumbbells! Two years later and I can now curl 20lbs with that arm which is great but still far from where I used to be. With the muscular problems and severe road rash I was immobile for several months and not able to do much more then walk for a year. I ballooned from 220 to 262 lbs. I was able to shed weight and dropped to under 170lbs through cardio only. With the muscle loss from the accident and cardio my weight soon spiked again to my current 210lbs.
I need this system to help me gain solid muscle, keep the fat off, build up my arm, and tighten my body again. My wife (friend at the time) has been at my side from day one and even when I was 262lbs and covered in burns/roadrash she still wanted to date me. She has worked hard to compete in fitness (winning the Short in 2009 Atlantics, 2nd in NB/PEI this past year and 3rd in Short at Atlantics despite being 6 weeks pregnant) and I want to reshape my body so I can be around for the long haul to support her and our child on the way. Thanks Lee, love the blog, keep it up!

Lee, I need your program because I will pay you one MILLION dollars for it….kidding. Seriously, since I started the Critical Bench program as a 48-year-old, I have found a new passion. Before the program, I essentially “mailed it in” at the gym. I set my own weights and reps and sets and let my own laziness and lack of motivation determine my gains. Since I went three times a week I wasn’t in terrible shape, but I wasn’t moving forward. The KEY to gaining is setting goals, incremental increases, following the program to the letter and working hard! I saw at my first competition guys who were in their 60’s lifting MORE than me. Way more! I had an epiphany. There is virtually NO limit to the gains I can make if I adopt the right program and work hard. I am noticing a great deal of mass gain and moderate gains in my BP. I am excited to try anything new to make new gains!

I am a gym freak for past 3 years i have been going to gym regulary and keep on doing cardio and weight training but haven’t reached upto my goal. My dream is to have an six pack abs and i have kept a primise in mind that by the end of this year atleast i would be proud enough to wear some skin tight shirts/T-shirts.
I think my intake is making me bulky. If you could suggest me what all and how i should take my food and what all are the effective kiler exercise that could build my abs and whole body.

I should thank you on onething by following some of your exercise i have reduced 3 kgs within 24 days.

Your suggestion would be highly appreciated.

As a firefighter, I need strength to perform the necessary functions of my job. However, I also need bulk (the muscular physique) in order to drag victims from fires, support ladders, etc. Also, I want to prove to everyone that someone who is 45 years old can still build muscle. Additionally, I have a beautiful 9-year-old daughter, who will some day have suitors coming to the door. Since I am only 5’8″ tall, I need a large, muscular physique in order to properly intimidate her would-be boyfriends!

  • Craig

Hey Lee!!! I’m not gonna ask for you to consider me a winner because I’ll buy your system anyway just to give it a good honest try, but if your crap I’ll let you know but if you system works then I’ll be making sure to blow your trumpet all over the place and making people realise there really is a steroid free way of making steroid like gains. Do you want somebody to give you good honest feedback? I’m your man.

  • Steven Hicks

As a distance runner all my life, I lived with a body composed of skin and bones. In college, I was a 5’11, 135lb “man” that looked anorexic. After an injury ended my running career, I decided to get out of the body that had always gotten me ridiculed and didn’t give me confidence (in elementary school, kids made a song about how skinny I was). I put on 30 pounds without guidance, but have plateaued for the last 9 months and need an effective program to help me reach my ultimate goals and really be pleased with what the mirror has to offer. Also, my bench is only at 130 still after nearly a year of training and some manly tasks (pickle jars, oil filters, etc) are still too daunting for me. This is why I need the bodybuilding physique with the powerlifter strength.

Building a strong , muscular body is very important to me because i have a burning desire to prove all those people wrong who tell me that i can never change my skinny frame . A few days ago some rogues abused my father right in front of my eyes and instead of me taking action against them , all i did was wonder if i could really hit them , given my weak muscular strength . The same above answer applies to why i need a proven mass and power building training system right now . Whether i bulk up or not is a different case , But
I’M GONNA GET BACK TO THOSE ROGUES FOR SURE ! ! !

  • Nalin Chaminda

For me this is important, i tried a lot to build my body now i have done it, but my arms are very stubborn & very dificult to bulk. at the movement i’m following all the instruction what Mr.Lee has given. and i like to have a muscular dody like Mr. Lee. body building is my hobby and to have big muscular body is my biggest dream. I’m realy appreciating the way you are helping me and expecting you help in future as well. Thank you very much.

I have made a commitment to myself and family to get back into shape and possible do my first show at the Masters level.

    Hey lee,

I really need and want a mass building power building program. I’ve been hitting the weights for like a year and a half now, and my best friend is my workout partner, but for a while now I’ve been making no gains in strenth or mass. I’m a hardgainer and even though I drink my gainer shakes and eat the right foods I find it real hard to pack on good pounds of muscle. Everyone around me seems to be getting bigger and stronger and I’m just stuck in a hole. I’m tired of not gaining weight, I’m tired of not gaining muscle,… And I would really like to have this program. Please consider me, thanks!
