Hey Lee first I would like to thank you and Trish for sharing your muscle bound vacation with us. My question is: I’v been training harder then ever, at least 4 days a week, plus cardio on the off days and sometimes I develop muscle fatique in my shoulders or arms that takes several days to be relieved. I use whey protein to supplement a healthy diet, but is there anything else I could do or shouldn’t do to prevent this. By the way by using your training methods I am progressing.

Sorry for the delay in answering this…
I normally just re-post this same post every week to notify people of the Talk Show times.

As for holding an ab vacuum, it does help control your abs and tighten them. But it isn’t going to make up for carrying excess bodyfat. However, when you are already lean and ripped, holding a vacuum will make a huge difference in how you look.

Generally as you build up your work capacity you’ll also reduce fatigue and muscle soreness. But for now try reducing the volume of training you do for arms and shoulders by a few sets and see if that helps.

  • Make sure to login to the show early so you can get your questions submitted ASAP. I’ll be taking the questions on a first come, first answer basis so the ones that are posted first will be sure to get covered.
