Hammer Strength seated row 6 plates per side!

The other day during my back workout I hit a personal best for me… 5 reps with 6 plates per side on the Hammer Strength Seated Chest Supported Row. I’m super happy with that, especially considering that I’m on a calorie restricted diet right now and training for fat loss.

Plus I also have to poke a bit at all the “YouTube Exercise Critics” out there who are going to bitch about my form when lifting heavyweights.

You definitely want to check this out, you’re going to get a chuckle out of it I promise!

    Hey Lee,

nice to see you hitting a PB, even when on a strict diet.

I think I saw a none-proper rep, think it was the 3rd one of the 1 plate set, lol, joke.Couldn’t fault the dumbbell reps though, well, maybe the colour, lol. Feel the burn!

    Anyway, keep on training!

    Good luck.

OMG Lee! Thanks for the laugh man! That was hilarious! But…. I’ll make sure to hit the gym now and practice that “s l o w” form! LOL! Keep up the great work!

From bodybuilding to stand up comedy! That was great. I think it’s funny you get criticized for lifting techniques and tempos. You’re a little beyond all that haha. I mean, you compete. You obviously know what’s best and what will work for your own body.

Hi, I am 53 years and train with a much younger partner, about 27 years old. We have had simialr remarks about form being out when doing the Dogg Crapp. When doing the final set with the heaviest weight you can handle, your last one or two reps are really crappy as far as form goes. A session lasts about 2 hours with longish rests in between. What we do on Mondays is a full body workout, but Dogg Crapping it. Wendesday and Friday are also full body workouts, but with about 60% of 1rm, very short rest periods and finish the workout in less than 1 hour, with good form being a requirement. Our strength has shot through the roof and with the high tempo on Wednesday and Friday, we really need the weekend off to recover. Both are natural by the way. Good articles you post – your one on the correct bench press helped both of us greatly by the way.
Keep up the good comments and articles.

  • Impressive!!

I recently did the whole stack for reps on seated rows and I was pretty excited but 275lbs one handed is just awesome.
