Hi John,
Please check your “junk mail” or “spam” folder. Chances are if you didn’t get the e-mail, it got mistakenly filtered out as spam. It’s funny because anytime you use the words “muscle building” or “gaining size” in an e-mail the spam filters think you are taking about “penis enlargement” and that’s why the e-mails often get filtered out as spam.

What I’m wondering is if this 3week program is a re-hashing of the 4week program from Bill Phillips. It was released years ago, and involved 2weeks diet followed by 2weeks bulk, to stimulate the anabolic process and prime our hormones. It was called the “Anabolic Burst” cycling program and had training tailored to the diet at the time. The diet phase was very low energy, about 8xbodyweight approx, and the bulk was 14-1500cal surplus each day.

From the mp3 it was said one person went from 15.5%BF to 14.5% and gained 6lbs. Does Lee Hayward have his results from several consecutive cycles? It would be reassuring if an experienced lifter repeated the cycle 5 times or more and had results that didn’t diminish. I’d much rather hear from Lee than random lifters that just did it once. Thanks.

Lee, is there a reason why you would use one week instead of two weeks to prime the gaining phase?

This program is based on a similar style of calorie cycling. But we’ve incorporated a lot of different things to maximize lean muscle growth. The Anabolic Burst program was brilliant in theory and really nailed home the muscle building benefits of the whole post bodybuilding competition rebound. But it left a lot of blanks… There was no specific diet plan to follow, no specific training cycle to use along with the calorie cycling phases, etc. Basically you had to fill in the blanks on your own and I think that’s why the results people got with that program was very hit and miss.
For example, if you had a good knowledge of training and nutrition for mass building and fat loss you could apply that knowledge to the different phases and make great gains. But for those who were unsure how to properly manipulate their diets and cycle their training they would very likely screw this up and not make as good of gains as they should.
That’s what Vince and I have done here with the 21 Day Fast Mass Building System. We are filling in the blanks so to speak. We’ve nailed down and included very specific meal plans with the precise foods to eat, the macro-nutrient ratios for each phase of the program, nutrient timing around pre and post workout, etc. These meal plans are very detailed and cover exactly what to eat, how much to eat, and when to eat it. Both of us put A LOT of work into designing these meal plans.
To go along with the meal plans we’ve included 4 different training programs that you can use for the different training phases. There are heavy mass building workouts, higher volume conditioning workouts, etc. And these workouts also include over 10 hours of videos showing everything in detail.
We also cover a lot more info as well on the finer points like supplements, lifestyle influences, monitoring your progress, training logs, as well as an individualization guide that shows you how to manipulate the training and nutritional variables to fit your exact situation and fitness goals.
Bottom line this is going to be the Biggest & Best training system that either of us has ever created to date and we’re super pumped about it!
