    3rd time’s a charm… I started out at 240lbs and well over 20% bf… Now Im225 lbs. bigger everywhere and smaller waist. I still have some fat to burn there but my arms and legs have grown around 2 inches in the past 6 months. I’m squating over 300 lbs. deadlifting over 450. I have women come up to me at the local car races and ask the check out my nipple rings and touch my chest with their full hand and take a deep breath!!!! I just keep hitting it like a savage and give my development to God. I plan on entering a strongman or two, a power lift event or two, and depending on what my body looks like and probably what you and Vince think on wether to try a fitness model or bodybuilder or two!!!! Lee, first and formost… When I bought LHMR there was alot of freebee’s offerd from alot of you fitness guys out there. Without a shadow of a doubt your specialization guide that you asked us about before you put it together and gave it to us was the best gift!!! By the wat I’m now somewhere between 17 and 15% bodyfat. I wished I could remember when and where I first found you. I’m FULLY intrested in Muscle period!!!!     I’m a bit late to the blog as there are 206 comments ahead of me already. But, I just want to let you know that you always have a lot of nice tips that I find very helpful. I have been trying to transform myself (I’ve never been into working out before), but I seem to constantly run into little injuries here and there (shoulder/upper bicep issues, elbow, wrists, lower back pain, etc). You’ve had many tips on exercises to help with these.

    So thank you very much and keep up the nice work and active discussions.

I remember seeing a tip you had about lat development and i used it in my workouts. though they are still a work in progress they are becoming thicker. my shirts are getting really tight in that area. i found out about the site while googling for some exercises several months ago.

    Hey Lee, David Frost from Wisconsin. I have used your BYB program, but to be perfectly honest I was disappointed with the results. I think the workout frequency was to much for my recoverability. I should have followed the alternate, less frequent program.

    I’ve also followed your max deadlift program with great results. I increased my max deadlift by 39 lbs over the 8 weeks of the program. Great program!

    Im from Perth, Western Aus. I found your site after i purchased 21 day fast mass building ( i was on Vince’s mailing list only back then ). Since then i reguarly watch and ask questions at your weekly talk show.

    I have just switched modes from fat loss and moved into mass gain… I have just finished my first cycle of 21dfmb and gained around 3kg. There were a few things i could have done better so im looking forward to the next cycle and will try to make better gains!

    Hi Lee. My name is Nathan. Im a 33 year old “lazy ass”. I wasn’t always this way. I grew up on a huge hay farm. I bailed hay all summer, delivered it during the winter and worked hard all year round doing everything from feeding the livestock to chopping wood. . . LOTS of it. When I moved out I was about 130 LBs (not toned or anything but almost no body fat. I still stayed active for a couple years but that only lasted for so long.

    I bought a playstation when they came out and started finding myself inside playing that more and more. My diet went from an almost 100% home grown garden and home raised livestock to fast food, junk food and instant meals. I knew we ate healthy but I really knew nothing of nutricion.

    After a couple decent jobs and some money in my pocket I built my first PC from scratch and to keep this “life story” short I find myself sitting inside most sunny days blowing up other lazy asses who were also just sitting inside getting fat like me.

    Ive known for a while I was getting over weight and this summer at 195 LBs I decided to do something about it. I joined a local gym based on quite a few of the recommendations in one of your youtube videos. There is a large group of power lifters and BIG guys there. A pretty good split between machines and free weights and several cable machines that I really like.

    I have spent quite a few hours reading and rereading “Bodybuilding Nutrition Made Simple” and watching your various work out videos through youtube while recovering from my workouts. Ive been working out for about a month now. I’m sore every time I leave the gym but It’s that good kind of sore where you know you hit the areas you wanted to hit and Once this extra padding melts off I look forward to seeing the fruits of all this hard work and sweet.

    Thanks for putting all of this fantastic information up. Quite a few of your nutrition suggestions have been incorporated into our kitchen to help keep the rest of my family healthy. You have taken that extra step to educate people and inspire me at least to be better for my children and family. Thank you again and keep up the good work.

    I’ve followed mostly programs found in Men’s health. I also subscribe to your newsletter and particularly enjoy your youtube videos; they provide guidance where magazines don’t.

    When I first started, I was 110 pounds and 5’8.5″, curling 10 pounds. Now, although far from ideal, I’m 118 pounds, curling 20 pounds.

    Casey Butt, originally from Harbour Grace, Newfoundland, then Carbonear, then St. John’s, now outside Detroit Michigan.

    – How you first found out about my website.

    I found your original website way back in the 1990s. IIRC correctly, I found it through one of the search engines, simply looking for “bodybuilding”. Back then there weren’t nearly as many sites as today and it was easier to get found. For some reason, I get the impression that you were in Mount Pearl instead of CBS back then, but I may be mistaken about that.

    In 20+ years I have followed almost every program there is, so there’s no way I could list everything here. You know the way it is.

    – How these programs have helped you get bigger, stronger, leaner, etc.

    If I had to pick one that helped the most I would have to say it has been basic, full-body routines …that’s as true today as it was years ago.

    – The specific numbers as to how much muscle you gained, how much bodyfat you lost, how much your strength has improved, etc.

    I lost about 170 lbs of fat and gained about 30 lbs of muscle since starting. My picture was in that interview I linked to above, but as per your imageshack request, it’s here too…

    im joel, an expats here in singapore, i first learn about you and your website when i was searching ways to improve my pull ups, when i saw your progressive pull up program from your website, honestly i was skeptical at first but because i was desperate to improve my pull ups i purchased and followed your program. After a month of following the technique you shared, i was able to do 3 sets 15 pull ups from 3-5 pull ups before i got your program.     Hi Lee Im Ray from London and ive followed Joel Marions xtreme fat loss 25 day program as well as Vince Delmontes nnmb program, both of these programs work but not as effectively as described. I need a program that is fast and effective and am now following some exercises created by Vince Gironda.

    -I live in silver spring Maryland, but i’m originally from El Salvador (small Country)
    -I first found out about the web site on a link i saw on facebook.
    -I’ve followed different plans. Ive followed 3,4, and 5 day routines. Ive mostly done 2 muscles pay day i work out. But sometimes on 3 day routines ive done full body work outs.
    -the programs have been really helpful, for i’ve put on over 30 pounds of lean muscle. Ive got bigger from every body part n managed to improve my abs.
    -On the bar bell bench i went from 165lbs to 245lbs, squats from 175lbs to 285lbs, leg press from 400lbs to 720lbs getting about 7-10reps, lat pull down from 130lbs to 170 again thats getting a few reps, incline dumbell press from 55lbs to 85lbs getting 5 reps, clean n jerk from 65lbs to 155lbs, deadlift from 135lbs to 315lbs.
    Those are just some basic work outs on which i improved a lot as i did on all.
    I basically went from 120lbs to 150lbs bodyweight through this period. I had trouble uploading the pics so you read this comment n could give me an email adress i can send it to, i will be glad to.

    Haven’t purchased any (just used the website and emails (so far))
    The tips you provide have gotten me great results (my secret weapons). Friends aren’t sure how I know make my progress.
    Hard to say since I’ve been using for several years but I have more than doubled my bench since starting to lift and gained at least 5-10 lbs/year in muscle.

    I really don’t know where to begin in terms of everything I’ve learned from Lee. About one third of everything I know has come form Lee. I get regular emails from him and I read them all, I personally know what he teaches works. Some of the most memorable things I;ve learned from him are keeping my shoulder blades close when doing benches, bulking up and cutting down, and the difference between machines and free weights. The first book of his Im going to purchase is Blast your bench, and I’m extremely excited about it. Last but not least, I’ve gained about 20 lbs of muscle following his advice. Currently I weigh 215 lbs.

It allows those of us who can’t afford the frequently high price of most books and e-books to still get topnotch advice from one of the greatest teachers out there. I have taken much of your advice over the last 1 and a half years, probably more so than anyone else, and as a result, I have gained 40 lbs. of muscle and lost almost 25 lbs. of fat.
