Hey lee, I have a question about creatine….. About a couple of months ago I took the creatine monohydrate for about two weeks and I made good strength gains with it, but when I tested my blood pressure a couple of times it was pretty high, so I stopped taking it for about a week and my blood pressure went back down… I was wondering if this is normal or not, i’m 17 years old so idk if my age had to do with it or because I was taking 10 grams right after I worked out and I haven’t really took creatine before… So do u think that if I only take 5 grams instead of 10 my blood pressure would stay low and also if I cycled my creatine could that make a difference too? maybe after awhile my body will get used to the creatine and I won’t have this side effect??….

This is definitely something worth monitoring, but chances are the increased blood pressure came about from the quick initial weight gain that people usually experience when starting creatine. But this usually subsides once you get used to taking it on a regular basis.
