Bodybuilding Coaching Club Survey

Hey there,
It’s your muscle building coach Lee Hayward here, and I need YOUR help with a project I’m working on…

I’m always looking for new ways to improve the quality of bodybuilding & fitness coaching that I provide my online followers, such as yourself.

As you know, I do provide a fair bit of training and nutritional advice via my blog, e-mails, YouTube videos, and interacting with folks on my facebook page. And I’m assuming it’s because of that stuff you are here reading this blog post right now 😉

In addition to that, I also offer e-books, DVD’s, and customized diet and training programs for guys who want to work with me personally and get more direct help with reaching their bodybuilding and fitness goals.

Now I’m still going to keep doing what I’m doing with regards to sharing training videos, blog posts, etc. But I’m working on creating an even higher level “Inner Circle Coaching Club” for guys who want to work with me personally and have me coach them directly.

You see every single day I get several hundred e-mail from guys asking me to help them with their workouts, help them with their diets, and basically coach them with reaching their bodybuilding and fitness goals.

As of this blog post there are 33,000+ subscribers following me on YouTube. There are 21,000+ followers on the Total Fitness Bodybuilding Facebook Page, plus there are tens of thousands more who just follow my website and don’t even have a facebook or YouTube account.

So with thousands of online followers, you can imagine that equals hundreds of e-mails. And as much as I would like to sit down and answer each and every one of those e-mails, it’s physically impossible, there just aren’t enough hours in the day.

So rather then simply ignoring them, or passing them off to my customer service staff. I’m going to provide an “Inner Circle Coaching Club” for guys who are really serious about taking their training to the next level and who want to work with me personally.

And this is where I NEED YOUR HELP…

You see I’ve got a good idea of how I want to organize this coaching club. But since this is meant for YOU, I want your feedback as to what you would like to see offered in this program.

So I’ve put together a short 10 question survey that I would like you to answer below:

Please Answer My 10 Question Bodybuilding Survey. <<--Click For Survey

It will only take a minute of your time and this survey will help me get a better idea of what your individual needs are and how I can better serve you in the future. So please fill it out now while you are here on this page.

And if you have any questions or comments, please post them. I’d love to hear your feedback and chat with you about this in the comments section below.

thanks in advance 🙂
Lee

    leehayward,

    Hi Lee,

I’ve been reading through your emails for around 3/4 years now but I’ve only been able to put them in practice recently due to change of job that’s more flexible so I’m able to go to the gym now. I’m looking forward to now start working out and following your guidance.

I filled out your coaching survey; the price was the one question I had a problem answering. The price is contingient on the type of coaching given.

I’m 54, and have been working out most of my adult life. I’m in very good shape, but I want to be in better shape. I eat very healthy, but maybe not the correct amounts, at the correct times. I also want a program that will keep me motivated, which I’ve had a hard time finding.

I receive your emails, and have watched quite a few of your videos; I think they are pretty informative, and I have used some of what I’ve watched.

I’m interested in learning more about your coaching program. Thanks.

    Chuck

    Hi lee,
Thanks for the e:mail… As a personal trainer and nutrionist myself it would be good to see some variance in training techniques…. As a fellow weightlifter I want to say I thoroughly enjoy reading respected fitness literature. I want to thank you for your blogs I find them a breath of fresh air. Particularly with the high percentage of drivel that many unfortunate beginners and intermediate trainers subject themselves too. Hope to hear from you soon.

  • Afternoon Lee,

Here I am to help you out on your project on coaching for Bodybuilding & Fitness. You have full knowlegde of your strengths and weakneses with your body. You explain the exercises with simplicity to the viewer. Your exercise with machines, free weigths and elastic bands are easy to follow… No problem right…Well, I think you can give the average veiwer ( novice ) more of a lesson on the anatomy of their bodies muscles. When you are showing them an exercise explain the muscle your working and any other secondary muscle being used. Show different exercises for the same muscle with different weights or machines. Try to go deep with explainations so the viewer can realy grasp the importance of the exercise…

PS/ I know you have many videos out there. I am just trying to give you some ideas on how to keep your audiance transfixed on your exercise. You did some outdoors video’s when you went on a Vaction ( You used Elastic Bands on palm trees ) those also stimulate the viewer to keep fit When going shirtless… Hope I had an input Lee. Train Hard, Eat Right and Enjoy Life… Herc.

    Lee,

I appreciate the opportunity to provide you with some feedback on this and actually completed the survey on Facebook. What I am primary interested in is strength training. My current program focus is on the deadlift, squat, bench and military press with a variety of assistance exercises. At 65 I am not only interested in training per se but how to more effectively manage intensity, diet, and suppliments to aid recovery and continue gaining strength. While longevity and health are major goals there are a number of things I have on my “bucket list” I also want to accomplish and strength is a major requirement. It would be great to have the benefit of your coaching.

  • Stewart Kelsall

    John Neal,

    Hi John,
Sorry to interupt I just wanted to say I think
It’s fantastic to hear about your passion for training and providing further proof that age is no barrier. You sir are inspirarional

    Regards

    Stewart

    Hi Lee
I have recently acquired your (blast your bench program) I am on week two, And I must tell you that I am very impressed with your methods, strategy and most of all results. I am seeing results in just 8 work outs. My question is, what are your thoughts on creatine cycling? are you for or against it? if you are for it what cycle do you recomend? or do you recomend taking it all the time?
    Thanks Lee
I have new enthusiasm and hope, thanks to you. I am one of those guys that kept working out year after year not making much in the way of improvements. I am so grateful I stumbled upon you, on line and ordered your program. You have gained another loyal student for life.
    Regards Joe.

Bring it!!!!!!!!!!! I’m tired of having fat pointy man-boobs and I’m willing to pay to get rid of them. 🙂

Someone else eluded to it but the pricing depends on what we get. For $30/month, I’d give it a go and see what happens. For $200/month, I’d think long and hard.

Also, maybe you could offer packages. Like…3 months for $200 or something like that. And include a check list of what will be going on for those 3 months. Or even $200 for one month or one week, just depending on how interactive and informative the package will be.

I’ve only been working out for 6 months or so and I’m already getting bored. So I’ve been working on switching up my workouts. I paid a trainer for 8 sessions so I could learn some new techniques. I didn’t need him for a year. I just needed him to learn some new things. I’ve been considering going back to him to learn some additional things or maybe using a different trainer to learn some new things. So what might be attractive is to buy a 3 month package from you, learn, develop, ask questions, etc. Then take 3, 6, 9 months off from you while we work what you taught us. Then come back for a refresher or to learn some new stuff.

You know how even though your girlfriend is nice and has pretty boobs and she lets you touch ’em and you really appreciate everything she has to offer, you still get tired of her every once in awhile? Kinda how you love her but you need some alone time and you’ll come back to her in a li’l bit? Same concept. 🙂

hi lee i have been following you for atleast 5 to 6 years and really enjoy getting your emails, i see you and trish as part of the family i am really happy i come across your website, your email is what keeps me motivated.
i have been training for several years just for fun,i just enjoy it jus keep sending me your emails and i will be happy.

  • Jim Bodine

Lee, took the survey, look forward to see what you come up with. I’m 58 and have started back to wieght training and 16 year break not a planned break. I have both you Blast your bench and Blast your biceps. I have not started those yet, but I use a lot of the routines and have been making great gains. Watch your videos on you tube all the time. You have provided a lot of great info some of it new, and I like the old school approach of free weights and some cable work. Look forward your emails and advice. I’m a loyal follower. Thanks for the great work.

  • john maclean

Great idea Lee. I have a diet and workout you did for me a few years ago and it is great. Been following a few on line coaches and gotta say the guy from NFLD is the most sincere and real world of them all. Thanks for everything Lee!!

  • Mike Orbell

This site has been a big asset for people just starting out with body building, and even those who are in more advanced stages .

  • Mark

    Hey Lee

Great idea man! I’ve been bodybuilding for just over a year and a half now and seen some inconsistent results. There are heaps of questions i have, just need someone who has the time to help me with routines and nutrition – your youtube and website have been great starting points but something like this would be awesome – I dont make it to your live chats as i am in Australia! Keep up the great work and thanks for your input so far!

  • David

    Hi Lee,

I’m lazy. I check the folder in my email for your messages every morning. If it’s a quick recipe or a new take on an old exercise I’m motivated to eat clean and workout that day. So if you put too much time into this online coaching venture then I’m gonna get FAT. I’ll leave your conscience to wrestle with that one!

    Keep up the good work,
    David

  • Bruce

Lee, I find your videos and advice to be very helpful when training. I look forward to your personal coaching via your online website.

    Yes Lee,
This is right on the money. This is exactly what you are leaving out of your video line up.
Ti would help me allot in understanding the workouts and how your muscles work together.

  • James Cochran

Lee, thanks for all the videos and tips, they are a great help, and believe me, at 55 and just starting out at this I can really use the help. Thanks again.

  • aimo

Thanks a lot, Lee, for your offer.
As I live in Spain, I invite you to train some day in the future together with me in my private Home Gym. I have a Multi-Machine with 4 separate Stations and many different size bars + over 300 kg of disks (plates), so even 6 persons could train in the same time here…
My wife will be in Finland in May 5 to 23, so I could give my bedroom for a few weeks for you and Patricia, if you would like it that way. I live in a 2 ( 3 ) store home, so we have 1 Bathroom upstairs and sauna + shower downstairs. The Gym is on the 3rd floor. I could take one of our computers into our living room downstairs to not keep you awake too late during the early hours (to read my emails at nights).
    How does it sound?
That would be one of my Highs during my lifetime!

I am now having a 2 week leave from training. My purpose is to go 5 times through the “21 DAY FAST MASS BUILDING” Program. I already completed 2 rounds of it, noticing surprising addition in strength in all movements. It really is an effective Program! What I noticed, was dropping back in weight to what it was in the starting week. Probably I should have been eating a lot more, than what I did during the last 2 weeks? On the 1st round I gained 10.57 lbs, but last round made me 9.2 lbs lighter, so net addition was only 1.3 lbs! Should I really eat more? But how could I grow stronger with gaining so little ( or even getting so much lighter after my 1st round )?

I am very sure about needing some expert advice with good example, not just plain written words, right? My problem is not having any training partner here… I know, that I can keep myself training for 3 weeks at a time, even for 40 days, but to feed a 74 year old trainee from meal to meal may not be too easy…
My friend put me on a special weighing machine, which told my fat%, water% and muscle tissue % including my metabolic age, which was 19 years! That may be the reason, why I lost so much weight!?
I really should find a way to gain more?

Better to stop this now and Say: Best Regards to you Lee&Patricia and WELCOME to Spain!

Your Finnish Friend and Loyal customer, Aimo

  • Muz

Have enjoyed your emails. As stated by others the dollar value is certainly dependent on what we receive. Looking forward to see what you have in mind.

    Lee,
I think this is a great idea, and what I think is the best thing is the one on one time. Basically you would be a long distance personal trainer with personal access to you via skype or telephone. I think that you planning routines for a subscriber ans even personally customizing your marketted workout programs to match someone’s body and goals better. And I think it should be somewhere around 50/month.
I am in college so I cannot afford this, but what this does is it gives the subscriber access to YOU and priceless information but doesn’t take too much time away from the lowly email subscriber who may only buy one or two programs a year.
I think Vince’s approach may have been a bit too far in providing too much premium content that is still just general content that could have been sent to everyone, you know? I do like what he did with the wave training. Take what you learned from your inner circle personal coaching and generalize it for the masses. Basically what I’m saying I guess is that this inner circle should absolutely benefit everyone. The subscriber for the personal training and all the customized advice, you for what you learn from teaching them and they relationships you develop (and hopefully that pay bump), and the email subscriber as the higher earnings for you allow high quality and dense material that is even better than it is now.

I’m always rooting for yah, Lee, and I hope this endeavor is successful for you, keep up the good work!

  • Tony Alu

Hi Lee thanks for the great inspirations u share internationally,im intrested in becoming a coach like u so u shld find time to start your inner circle coaching team which am shure will be a blessing to all.

  • zeeshan

sir i want to tell you some thing personal about me plz tell me how can i tell you personal questions about me?

  • Lonnie Rogers

Hey lee, Sign me up man , Hope this all starts soon, Ive been following you for a few of months now,Cant wait for you to get this thing up and running ..
    Thanks your friend Lonnie

  • Rodrigo

Hey there Lee! Regarding price you could use “price lining” (example: ipods 8 gig, 16 gig, and 32 gig charge 100, 160, 300 respectively) so you could target dipherent market segments regarding income. It is just a thought, since you could opher various services as I saw on question 9. Maybe you could give 3 services phor price 1, 6 services phor price 2, and….well you get the hint. Hope this helps you out to start up your online bizznazz….!!!!

  • Stewart Kelsall,

Ditto. I feel exactly the same. I listen to lots of videos from guys trying to be the ‘new internet trainer’ sensation and they spend about 20mins selling you their product with their life story (which all sound the same) without telling you bout the grit of the product.
Loving you e-mails and work lee & if this club doesnt cost too much then i cant wait to be a part of it.
Either way keep up the good work buddy

Always makes sense most stuff online is just full of shite……

  • Steve

I appreciate all the great tips and information you’ve provided, and I’d love to consider the Coaching Club, but I’m not interested in all the spam and advertisements I would get if I completed the Survey Monkey site questions. It seems pretty obvious to me what a negative marketing swamp that site has become. I already get too much spam. I don’t need any more.

  • Ben

I think your one on one coaching would be a fantastic idea 🙂 your information has been good and valuable . Looking forward to seeing this one on one coaching program works out even if its just a couple questions answered .(cheers with your programs)

  • val

i have already completed the survey.

Survey Monkey is a legit site, I’ve used them for several times over the years. Besides you do NOT even have to enter in your e-mail address so there is no way you can get spammed from filling out my survey.

Great idea Lee id love to try this out!

Lee, Been doing Ben and Vinny’s program since January 1 and adding in things from your blogs and videos. I’ll be 56 in July and can say probably in as good a shape now as I was in college. Other than those new normal aches and pains that age seems to bring on. So any type of program you might have to keep us focused and ever moving forward will be great. Really looking forward to seeing what you have come up with. All the best!

  • Akil Asson

I am vey interested. I lift very heavy and use high reps. Since I started watching your videos, I have implemented a lot of your exercises into my workouts with great success.

    Thanks
