Back Workout @ LA Fitness in Santa Monica California

I was in Santa Monica the other day and met up with one of my online followers, Lorenzo Serra, for a back workout at LA Fitness.

Lorenzo is currently following the 21-Day Fast Mass Building Program and it was his back workout day. So I basically just jumped in and we worked out together and made a video of it.

Now, while I was sharing some muscle building tips with Lorenzo during our workout. He shared some muscle car driving tips with me because earlier that day we took a little zip around LA in our cars. I just got a new 2011 Camaro SS and Lorenzo has a Super Charged 2003 Mustang Shelby Cobra, so between the 2 of us we had over 800 horse power roaring through the streets of LA.

Lorenzo knows how to make that Super Charged Shelby Cobra boogie and stick to the turns like glue.
So I’m the “Muscle Building Coach” and Lorenzo is the “Muscle Car Coach” 😉

    Trish is filming the video.

There are deadlifts included in the actual program from the 21-Day Fast Mass Building System. But I opted out because I don’t want my back to be sore when I have to drive across the country.

You can call me a whimp if you like, but I could care less, being comfortable and enjoying the road trip is more important to me right now. I’ll have plenty of time to do deadlifts when I can back home. 😉

Maybe Lorenzo can chime in (if he’s reading this) and give you the details of his car.

Route 66 does cross a little bit of Texas, but just through Amarillo.

can u tell me if the body absorbes 100% of the proten u take in. G N C says only about 50% and that i have to buy isolat proten for better asorbtion rate. this of couse costs twice as mutch. sounds like hoooeee to me . what do u say.

  • George

    e bongers,

It is “hoooee”.You can only absorb about max, 20-30 grams protein in a serving. Does the jug say “50 grams of protein per serving”? You won’t absorb 100% in a serving. Old school raw egg whites is cheaper and easier to digest.
But hey, Lee knows best from experience. I hope to see his reply.
