Have you ever used your age as an excuse to not do something?
Well guess what, you are never too old to reap the benefits of weight training and a healthy lifestyle.
A great example of this is Sy Perlis from Arizona. The 91-year-old World War II veteran just recently set the bench press world record in the over 90 class of the World Association Of Benchers & Deadlifters with a 187.2 pound bench press. This demolished the previous bench press record of 135 pounds that has stood since 2005.
Sy started working out at the age of 60 and is in better shape today that a lot of men half his age. So if you are thinking that you are “Too Old” to workout… Think again!

GJ,
I was really impressed with this, I hope to be as active and healthy when I’m his age.

How is it “BS” did you even watch the video?

When you get arthritis, then you can’t train and can be considered to belong next to the category of the elderly. So all the garbage about thinking/feeling you are/aren’t old is not valid.
If you’re an old man and think you’re young then that’s another bag of garbage.

Hardcore at 91, amazing…hope I look like him at his age, thumbs up for sure.

John, why the negative comment? I was disapointed when I saw him being squeezed into a bench shirt but it is still a great accomplishment. I know 50 year olds that can’t do it.

I’m in total agreement with john: I prefer death and die young rather than be a slave to my wife.
