Hey Lee! Was wondering about the talk you had yester day about diet. I have been reading alot about lchf diet etc. can you build mass without carbs?
that would be awsome in theory. i mean, burning fat, higher testostorone levels, and building musles. or is it nessesary to have some carbs like after training?
sorry for spelling 😀 haha wiiie

I use low carb dieting for fat loss, but it’s not the most effective way to build muscle. You need carbs if your main goal is building muscle.
Now you can still make small gains in lean mass while following a low carb diet, but the main benefits is the fat loss.

Hello Lee,
?s for you sir, if you have alot of weight to lose say in excess of 40lbs is it better to train for weight loss/muscle gain or try some hybrid combination of the two?
What is the more important (in terms of physique recompositioning) resistance training or cardio, do these two types of training cancel each other out?
Thanks for your time.

If you have 40+ pounds to lose focus on losing the bodyfat first. You still do this with a combination of weight training, cardio, and a healthy diet. So chances are you’ll also gain some lean muscle in the process simply due to getting in better shape and eating better. But the priority is losing the excess fat.
