I’m currently 6 weeks out from the Atlantic Canadian Bodybuilding Championships and I feel that I’m on track for getting absolutely ripped to the bone shredded for this show!

I’m very pleased with how things are going. I’ve been following a low carb diet plan with strategic “carb & fat load” re-feed meals spaced in during the week and it’s really working well for me. I’ve been getting leaner and more ripped each week and I’ve been able to maintain strength and muscle in the process.

Lee I also wanted to ask you what you recomend I should do to lose more body fat, because I workout hard and I am strong,but I just can’t lose any weight. I kind of lost motivation, so I stop going to the gym. Please answer my questions, thank you!

    I agree with legs (specifically the thighs) they are always a tricky area for me to bring in. But I’m seeing improvements, they are getting leaner, and I’m starting to see some veins running through the quads. I’m pretty sure that with another 5 weeks of dieting and dropping another 10 pounds I should be ready to rock and hold my own against anyone who steps on the Atlantics stage.

Hey, the Marines wants ’em back(your “guns”)! -Hehh! -Your “Fiend” & natural bodybuilder, independent “Monster”/Sci-Fi comedy moviemaker, actor & comic, former Marine & former Chicago “Golden Gloves” boxer(in ’76, ’88 thru ’91 at age 34), David ROCK Nelson. P.S.- I worked out at home lastnight(Sun) & did 2 sets each bar-dips, triceps press-downs, upright rows & biceps curls, then had about 15 oz. milk shaken with 2 scoops soy protein powder & tablespoon sugar(to sweeten it up) & a banana. I had a can o’ tuna with the olive pizza my brotha Phil brought home(a fun food, but atleast it has my carbs, cheeze/a protein source & the olives & tomatoe sauce are good). I eat meat, rice, potatoes, veggies & drink atleast 4 glasses milk a day, at age “53” years “Young”. I’m not worried about my weight. I want to “bulk-up”, but want to lose some of my “gut”(stomach fat), though I actually lost a few pounds yesterday(ate less snacks). -“ROCK”!
