I often have this for breakfast as well as for my post workout meal. <\/p>\n<p>The thing I like about it the most is that it&#8217;s quick and easy to make, it&#8217;s tasty, and provides your body with some high quality protein, complex carbohydrates, and fiber.<\/p>\n<p>Now there are a lot of different ways that you can go about making high protein oatmeal. In this video I&#8217;m going to share one of the ways that I make it, but if you have your own <em>&#8220;special recipe&#8221;<\/em> that you like to make, please feel free to post it in the comments below. Boil the kettle. Some people like to make this in the microwave, but I prefer to make it with hot water instead. You can try both and do what works best for you. <\/p>\n<p>2. Mix the oats and oat bran together in a large bowl.<\/p>\n<p>3. Pour in enough hot water to soak the oats and mix it up.<\/p>\n<p>4. Let the oatmeal cool for 1 minute and then stir in 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder. I personally like to use <a href=\"http:\/\/www.BlueStarMuscle.com\" title=\"iso-smooth protein powder\" target=\"_blank\"><U>Iso-Smooth 4 Blend Protein Isolate<\/u><\/a> but you can use what ever protein powder you like.<\/p>\n<p>5. Sprinkle some cinnamon over the top and enjoy!<\/p>\n<p><font size=\"+1\"><U><strong>Nutritional Facts:<\/strong><\/u><\/font><br \/>\n355 calories<br \/>\n39 grams of protein<br \/>\n46 grams of carbohydrates<br \/>\n9 grams of fiber<br \/>\n6 grams of fat<\/p>\n<p>This would be ideal for a high protein breakfast, a high protein post workout meal, or anytime you need a quick and easy high protein snack.
