It’s called MET Training or Metabolic Training. Which basically uses advanced training techniques to get more work volume done without spending more time in the gym.

One simple way that you can start incorporating this into your own workouts right now is to add in extra exercise for your non-target muscle groups.

For example, lets say you are in the gym working arms. This is all fine and dandy, but arm training doesn’t burn a lot of calories and it really doesn’t place a lot of demand on your central nervous system. Compare arm training to leg training. You’ll feel a much deeper level of muscular fatigue after training legs, and you’ll burn a lot more calories as well, compared to just working arms alone.

However, by using the principles of MET training you can make your arm workouts (and other workouts) more metabolically active, create much oxygen debt, increase your metabolism, and thus burn more bodyfat without spending more time in the gym.

All you have to do is add in some extra leg exercises between the sets of your upper body exercises. Now the main emphasis is still on training your target muscle group (i.e. arms, chest, shoulders, back, etc.) but you are just going to add in some extra leg work as a secondary exercise to create more metabolic demands on your body.

So while your upper body is resting, your legs are getting some extra work and burning more calories and helping to shed off that stubborn bodyfat.

Here’s an example of how to use MET Training with your upper body workouts:

NOTE: if you can’t watch the embedded video clip above,
you can watch the full video on YouTube, just Click Here.

Here’s another example of how to use MET Training with your lower body workouts:

NOTE: if you can’t watch the embedded video clip above,
you can watch the full video on YouTube, just Click Here.

Now this is just a very basic example of how MET training works, but if you would like to take full advantage of this advanced muscle building & fat burning training system, then I suggest you head on over to: www.METtraining.net

And download a copy of Scott Abel’s MET Training program.
