(eat pizza and get lean)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Every time I think about pizza, my stomach starts to rumble.<\/p>\n<p>There is nothing quite like a hot slice of pizza oozing with cheese and your favorite toppings.<\/p>\n<p>Mmmmmm&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>And who can stop at just 1 slice. Before you know it, you&#8217;ve inhaled 4 or more slices.<\/p>\n<p>But when you&#8217;re working hard to lose fat and get 6 pack abs, this gastronomic guilty pleasure can have up to 15-20g of fat not to mention about 50 grams of carbs in only ONE SLICE.<\/p>\n<p>And, like I said, who stops at just one slice of pizza?!<\/p>\n<p>I was feeling deprived knowing I couldn&#8217;t eat this except maybe as a once in a while &#8220;cheat meal&#8221; until I learned about an alternative way to make pizza&#8230; The healthy way.<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to creating meals that taste as good as your favorite cheat meals that are actually good for you without ruining your abs, Dave Ruel, aka The &#8220;Muscle Cook&#8221; and author of the best selling bodybuilder&#8217;s cookbook, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anaboliccooking.net\" target=\"_blank\"><U>Anabolic Cooking<\/U><\/a> knows his stuff. With Dave&#8217;s permission, I&#8217;m sharing one of my favorite recipes from Anabolic Cooking. <\/p>\n<p><U><font size=\"+2\"><B>Healthy Chicken Pizza Recipe<\/font><\/b><\/u><br \/>\n<font size=\"+1\"><I>Makes 1 serving<\/font><\/i><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.anaboliccooking.net\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/leehayward.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/chicken-pizza.jpg\" alt=\"Healthy Chicken Pizza Recipe!\" width=\"522\" height=\"263\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10023\" srcset=\"https:\/\/leehayward.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/chicken-pizza.jpg 522w, https:\/\/leehayward.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/chicken-pizza-300x151.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 522px) 100vw, 522px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><U><strong>Ingredients: <em>(Standard Measurements)<\/em><\/strong><\/u><br \/>\n&#8211; 6 oz. of diced Chicken Breasts<br \/>\n&#8211; 1\/3 cup of low-fat Mozzarella<br \/>\n&#8211; 1 Whole Wheat Pita Bread<br \/>\n&#8211; 1\/4 cup sliced Mushrooms<br \/>\n&#8211; 1\/4 cup diced Green Pepper<br \/>\n&#8211; 1\/4 cup diced Red Pepper<br \/>\n&#8211; 1\/4 cup chopped onions<br \/>\n&#8211; Salt and Pepper to taste<br \/>\n&#8211; 2 tablespoonfuls of Perfect Spaghetti Sauce <em>(see Salads, Soups and Sides section)<\/em> or any healthy commercial spaghetti sauce.<\/p>\n<p><U><strong>Ingredients: <em>(Metric Measurements)<\/em><\/strong><\/u><br \/>\n&#8211; 170 grams of diced Chicken Breasts<br \/>\n&#8211; 80 milliliters of low-fat Mozzarella<br \/>\n&#8211; 1 Whole Wheat Pita Bread<br \/>\n&#8211; 80 milliliters sliced Mushrooms<br \/>\n&#8211; 80 milliliters diced Green Pepper<br \/>\n&#8211; 80 milliliters diced Red Pepper<br \/>\n&#8211; 80 milliliters chopped onions<br \/>\n&#8211; Salt and Pepper to taste<br \/>\n&#8211; 30 milliliters of Perfect Spaghetti Sauce <em>(see Salads, Soups and Sides section)<\/em> or any healthy commercial spaghetti sauce.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Perfect Spaghetti Sauce recipe can be found on page 152 of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anaboliccooking.net\" target=\"_blank\"><U>Anabolic Cooking<\/U><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><U><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/u><br \/>\n1. Cook chicken separately.<\/p>\n<p>2. Spread Spaghetti Sauce on one side of the Pita Bread<\/p>\n<p>3. Top with chicken and veggies<\/p>\n<p>4. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, salt and pepper<\/p>\n<p>5.
