Train At A REAL GYM For Hardcore Muscle Gains!

Going to the gym and working out regularly is critical to building a lean muscular physique. But another very important thing to consider is the actual gym and the workout atmosphere that you train at…

Not All Gyms Are Created Equal…

Below is a pic of a good Hardcore Old School Gym. But most gyms today are not really gyms at all. They are more along the lines of “Powder Puff Fitness Centers”.

Hardcore Old School Gym
Classic Hardcore “Old School” Gym!

I can remember a while back a buddy of mine shared a story with me about one of these fancy new “gyms”. He wanted to try it out so he bought a day pass and went in for a workout. The free weight section was pretty shitty to begin with, but they did have the basics.

After a few warm up sets he reached in to his gym bag and took out his container of lifting chalk, chalked up his hands and did a set of deadlifts. As soon as he finished his set one of the employees came over and told him:

“You are not allowed to use chalk in here. If you don’t clean up your mess you’ll have to leave!”

With that my friend said:

“What kind of a gym is this? Everywhere else I train allows lifting chalk???”

The employee told him:

“We are not a ‘GYM’ we are a Fitness Center, and we don’t let people use chalk”

With that my friend packed up his things, walked out the door and never came back!

Lesson Learned…

If you are serious about building a ripped muscular physique, than you need to train in a place that will support your efforts, and not hold you back. Just watch the video presentation that I’ve put together for you below to find out if you are training in the right gym or not…

Its about the “Homemade protein brownie recipe”

My grandmom who is really into baking cakes and pastries was so impressed that she asked me to tell you
She also said that it makes her happy that now I can eat brownies without worrying about my fitness coz I had stopped eating the pastries she used to make
She was particularly amazed as to how simple and quick the whole procedure was

To lose bodyfat you still need to perform serious weight training workouts. The only real difference is you’ll incorporate more cardio along with a strict fat loss diet plan with your workouts.

I cover exactly how to go about doing this in my Extreme Fat Loss Program at:

What you think about Powertec home gym lee?

  • Ryan Philipson

I always worked out in hardcore gyms, but now after 3 years of training, im pretty much the same as i was after the first year, i am literlaly “skinny-fat”
although ive been in gyms with 200+ pounds gorilas and rusty weights,
how do you justify that Lee?

i am so dissapointed of myself, i feel like i need to kill myself

your right lee it’s hard to find a hardcore gym these days! i remember walking in a golds gym 20 years ago and i was intimidated by those bigger guys! that gym today doesn’t exist anymore.i mainly see those powder puff gyms, which i think are gay! i know only one hardcore gym thats about a 2 hour drive from my home.that’s the only inconveinence. great article lee!

    Really nice post,
I actually use both.. i do my weight lifting in an hardcore gym and love to yell on my last rep.. it really helps to be trained by a huge guy who walks the walk and be in an atmosphere of intense hardcore lifting.. and i do my cardio, stretching and swimming in a fitness center where they have everything i need to do it.. i think the best is achieved by being in both worlds, like everything else in life.
