There was a record number competitors with 65 men and women competing in the show.
That’s A LOT of competitors especially considering that we are a pretty small province population wise.

Both my girlfriend Trish and I competed.
I placed 3rd in the Light-Heavyweight Division. But the BIG success was with Trish, she won The Figure Short Class, The Figure Masters (over 35 class), as well as the Figure Overall Title.
I’m super happy for her!

Below are a few pics from the show as well as some that I took Sunday the day after the show.
I’ll be posting up some more pictures as we get them. There were lots of photographers at the show, but not everyone has their pictures uploaded yet.

I’ve got some pretty exciting news to share with you today…

YouTube has created a program called “YouTube Next Trainer” where they are going to work with 16 different online fitness coaches from around the world, give them a $15,000 video equipment and promotional package.

I’m currently in training for my next bodybuilding competition, the 2011 Newfoundland Provincial Championships that’s on November 19.

Below is a quick video clip of a practice posing session that I did, this was shot 3 weeks out from the competition. My body weight is currently 200 pounds (and I’m 5’6 tall).

My goal is to drop another 8-10 pounds between now and the competition and weigh in somewhere in the low 190′s to really nail in my best conditioning.

You see I’ve been working on doing a “Muscle Up” for quite a while now.
And just the other day I finally was able to do my very first Muscle Up!

If you are not familiar with a “Muscle Up”, it’s basically a hybrid move between a pull up and a dip. You have to be able to pull yourself up fast enough and high enough over the bar in order to transition into doing a dip at the top of the exercise.

Below is a video clip showing my very first Muscle Up…
Along with some of my “not so successful” attempts…

There is no place like home…

I’m finally back home again after almost a month on the road. My girlfriend Trish and I flew to Vegas, bought a new car (Camaro SS), and drove it back back home. We had an absolute blast, it was our best vacation ever.

We started off by driving the old Route 66 from Santa Monica, California to Chicago, Illinois.

This was the best part of the trip by far, it’s almost like going back in time as a lot of the towns and communities have been kept they way they were back in the mid 1900′s.

If you have never driven Route 66, then I’d highly recommend you add it to your “To Do” list. It’s the ultimate road trip!

After we finished Route 66 we drove east, crossed the Canadian border in Maine, drove across Atlantic Canada, and then took the ferry across to Newfoundland.

Below is an overview of our Cross North America Road Trip.

I’ve still got a lot more pics to post up, I should have them posted within the next few days.
So you can check back for those…

Keeping Fit While Traveling

During our road trip we did keep with a pretty good workout and nutrition plan. Now I’ll admit that we were not following a strict pre-contest diet plan or anything like that, so we had some flexibility. But we kept active with regular workouts and ate healthy the whole time.

Here are a few of the things that we did to keep consistent while traveling…

- We kept a cooler with us and stocked it with protein bars, trail mix, cottage cheese, and fresh fruit. That’s what we snacked on during the day in between meals.

- We had protein powder and greens powder and we had a couple drinks each day. Usually 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening.

- When we’d eat out at a restaurant we would start each meal with a large garden salad. This allowed us to keep lots of green veggies in our eating plan.

- When ever we had a combo meal that offered french fries, we asked the server to substitute vegetables or a garden salad instead. Fries are one of the worst things you can eat for piling on blubber (high-carb & high-fat all rolled into one) you are best skipping them altogether.

So even though our eating plan wasn’t super strict, it’s still was quite healthy by applying these simple tips.

In addition to that we also hit up several gyms along the way for regular weight training workouts.
I’ve posted up a couple training videos that we shot along the way at the following links…
Back Workout, Leg Workout, and Upper Body Workout

And when we couldn’t get to a public gym or a hotel gym for a workout we would workout in our hotel room with bodyweight exercises and rubber fitness band exercises.

If you are looking for good quality rubber fitness bands, I highly recommend the Body Lastic Bands at:

www.BodyLasticBands.com

</a.

Now while this certainly helped us maintain our level of fitness during our road trip, both Trish and I are really looking forward to getting back to normal and kicking our training up to the next level.

I’m getting the competitive itch once again and I think there’s another bodybuilding competition in store for me this fall. I’ll keep you posted with more details about that…

all the best,

We’re making our way east along the old Route 66 and loving every minute of it. If you have never driven “The Mother Road” before I highly recommend it. I think this is a “must do road trip” we’ve gotten to see and experience a lot of American history during this road trip.

During our stay in Tucumcari, New Mexico we stayed at the Blue Swallow Motel right on Route 66.

During our chit chats with the Motel owners Bill and Terri we got on to the topic of weight training because their son is competitive powerlifter. And they told us about old rec-center in town that has a public gym that’s free to use.

So sure enough Patricia and I had to go and check it out. This was the smallest gym I’ve ever been to, but it had all the basics needed for a solid workout, below is quick video clip from that old school Route 66 gym…

I’m writing to you today from the Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas… This is the first leg of my
Cross Country American Muscle Tour.

I just did a workout in the hotel gym, and I have to say I was quite impressed. Most hotel gyms suck big time, but this one is actually pretty good. It has a full line of benches and barbells, plate loaded leg press, dumbbells, cables, and of course lots of cardio machines. The only thing that it’s really lacking is a squat or power rack.

But again as for hotel gyms, it’s a pretty good one.

Even though I’m going to be on the road for the next month, I’m still going to keep up with regular workouts and sensible eating. Now granted I’m not following a contest diet or anything, but I’m not going to let my diet go to sh!t either. Pretty much every restaurant you go to serves “clean food” in addition to the regular stuff. So with careful choices in the restaurant for 2-3 meals a day, in addition to a few protein shakes per day, you can still keep up with a sound nutrition plan when traveling.

Anyway, that’s what’s new with me…
I’ll be posting regular updates of our cross country trip here on my blog as well as on Facebook.

I’m writing this blog post while sitting in St. John’s airport waiting for my flight (which is delayed). Hence the reason I’ve got time to kill and write this post

My girlfriend Patrica and I are about to embark on road trip of a lifetime…
We’re going to buy a new car in Las Vegas, head to California, and drive it back home via Route 66!

Route 66 runs from LA to Chicago. From there we’re going to make our way across the north eastern states, cross the border into Canada, and then work our way back home to Newfoundland. By the time it’s all said and done it we will have crossed the entire continent of North America!

And we’ll be doing it in style! Driving a brand new American Muscle Car…

You can check out the cool little video presentation that I’ve put together below that outlines our road trip…

Just a couple days ago I had the opportunity to train with the creators of the Lean Hybrid Muscle Building System Elliott Hulse & Mike Westerdal at The Elite Strength & Conditioning Gym in Tampa Florida.

These guys are friggen animals and strong as hell (as you’ll see in the video). And they all use the Lean Hybrid style of training in their workouts to build ripped, raw, rock solid muscle mass that is not just for show, but can also move some heavy ass weights.

Just watch the video below to get a quick sample of the kind of ball busting workouts these guys do on a regular basis…

If you are even just “slightly” interested in knowing how you can go about building that kind of raw muscle and power in your own physique. Than you should download a copy of The Muscle Shifting Doctrine. This will show you 7 killer tricks for building ripped powerful muscle that is just as strong as it looks.

It is a totally FREE Report and video presentation that Mike and Elliott have put together for you. I highly recommend you check it out because these guys both know their sh!t and they practice what they preach.

You can download your Free-Report right on their website at:

This morning I’m up bright and early…
Well, that’s not totally true because it’s still dark outside, but it is early

I’m flying down to Florida today to get a mini-escape from this cold Canadian winter. It’s perfect timing too because we just had a snow storm yesterday and that added to my motivation for some warmer weather.

While in Florida I’m going to be hanging out with good friends and fellow muscle building coaches:
Vince Del Monte (The Skinny Guy Saviour)
Dave Ruel (The Muscle Cook)
Mike Westerdal (The Critical Bencher – 600+ pound bench press!)
Elliott Hulse (The Lean Hybrid Strongman)
Joel Marrion (The Xtreme Fat Loss Coach)

Just in case you are wondering what my tag line is…
They call me: The Savage Beast who was born in a cave and raised by Wolves!
(Don’t ask, it’s a long story that’s 99% fictional but fun non-the-less.)

Anyway, each one of these guys practices what they preach and they know their sh!t. I’ve personally learned a ton of killer tips and tricks from each and everyone one of them. Which in turn makes me a better muscle building coach and allows me to pass on even more valuable muscle building and fat burning strategies to you.

Even though I’ve been working out since 1990 and competing in bodybuilding since 1995, I’m not so thick headed to think that I “Know It All” when it comes to bodybuilding and fitness. I’m constantly reading, studying, and learning new things from a variety of different sources. I feel that it’s my duty to keep up to date with the best muscle building tips in order to better serve my personal coaching students and online followers like YOU.

Now while we all work hard… We like to play harder!

And quite honestly I have no freaking idea what crazy adventures lie ahead for me while hanging out with these guys in Florida. It’s almost like watching an action movie, you know there is going to be high intensity adrenaline charged adventure, but you just don’t know what…

I’ll just give you a quick recap of some of the highlights of 2010′s adventures…
(This is how I played hard last year.)

Those are some of the highlights of 2010. It’s been one kick ass year that’s for sure! So I can only imagine what 2011 has in store. It has already started off with launching the best selling muscle building program of 2011 The 21-Day Fast Mass Building Program!

And to go along with that, there is one BIG Adventure coming up very soon… The Arnold Classic Expo and we are going to be taking the top 10 physique transformation contest winners from the 21-Day Fast Mass Building Program to hang out with us at the Arnold Classic in Columbus Ohio March 3-6th.

So if you are one of the serious action takers who has already come on board and are currently in your very first 21-Day FMB Cycle… Give it all you got and who knows, maybe you could be hanging out with us very soon and creating your own kick ass adventure stories.

This is a hard and heavy back workout that works the back from top to bottom. Lat thickness, lat width, as well as the spinal erectors. For the first exercise I’m blasting out heavy weights for high reps to really push myself and stimulate some new muscle growth. Then for the remaining exercises I’m doing a standard 5 x 5 set and rep pattern.

The workout consisted of 1 arm dumbbell rows for lat thickness. Weighted pull ups for lat width. And good mornings for developing the spinal erectors, lower back, and core.

I’m writing this blog post from a little tropical Paradise in Mexico,
sitting at a peaceful beach bar with a beautiful view of the ocean,
and sipping on a cup of freshly ground Mexican coffee.

But yesterday afternoon myself and fellow online muscle building coach Jeff Anderson tried our best to battle the waves. This was my first time surfing and I knew it was going to be tough… But it was even tougher then I expected.

And being a pretty big guy, especially by surfer standards (I’m 5’6 and 220 lbs.) makes it all the more challenging to get up on that board.

I did manage to get up briefly a few times, but this was one hell of a workout. My core strength, balance, and muscular endurance were put to the test. And I loved every second of it!

One of my personal goals to maintain a solid overall fitness base so that I can jump in and participate in any kind physical activity at anytime. Now granted I’m still a bodybuilder at heart, so I do tip the scales in favor of muscle building. But I like to train for an overall balance of flexibility, agility, endurance, etc. I never want to be the so called “muscle bound” bodybuilder.

Here is a pic of me below riding in on the tail end of a wave. My girlfriend Trish caught some footage of my few successful attempts and my many unsuccessful attempts on video. When I get home I’ll post them up in a YouTube Blooper Video.

Anyway, I just wanted to touch base and let you know about the 21 Day Extreme Muscle program that I mentioned last week. If you haven’t heard about this yet just go to: http://leehayward.com/blog/lean-mass-building-system/

My original plan was to keep this down to a small individual coaching program, but I’ve received over 500 applications, so I think I’m going to scale this up to a larger group coaching program. I haven’t finalized all the details yet, but when I get home from Mexico later this week I’ll let you know how this program will go.

Again, if you are interested in taking part in this project you can still apply, just go to:

I just got back from Las Vegas yesterday and I have to say it was an absolute blast!
I didn’t get much sleep because the entire trip was jam packed with action and adventure!

Here’s just a quick re-cap of some of the crazy fun cool stuff that went down:

1) Checked out the Mr. Olympia competition and seen Jay Cutler get his 4th Olympia title…

2) Wined and dined with some of my best friends in the online fitness industry…

3) Raced a Lotus Elise at 120 mph through the desert…

4) Jumped out of a perfectly good airplane at 15,000 feet…

5) And in addition to all that fun and adventure, I also worked out at Wanderlei Silva’s MMA gym with my girlfriend Trish and good friend Eric Wong.

If you are an MMA / UFC fan than you’ll really like this one!
I posted up a video clip of our workout below so you can see what a cool gym it really is…

The Prowler is a killer workout for building up muscular endurance in the legs, hips, arms, and shoulders. This video is of my initial trial of the prowler and I was impressed by just how hard this machine really is.

If you have access to one, I highly recommend incorporating it as part of your workouts. Simply doing a 5-10 laps with this machine at the end of your workouts will really help build up your overall conditioning.

Another big plus to this is it will really get that lactic acid burn going throughout your legs, which is great for stimulating natural Growth Hormone release.

I just got back home from a week long trip to Niagara Falls with my girlfriend Patricia.

The reason for our trip was to attend Vince & Flavia DelMonte’s wedding.
(Note: Vince is the author of the No-Nonsense Muscle Building Program.)

But of course we had to make a mini-vacation out of it as well and take in all the sights of Niagara Falls. It was our first time there and we absolutely loved it!

And while we were there we never once stepped foot inside of a gym!

Now I know some hardcore fitness fanatics out there would freak out at the thought of going a week without working out. But by cycling your training, and even taking the occasional break away from the gym will help you make better gains and enjoy the process even more over the long run.

=======================

How To Cycle Your Workouts For Long Term Muscle Growth

Working out and keeping fit is one the best things you can do for yourself. When your body is in shape you feel 100% better about yourself both physically and mentally. You will have a lot more energy, it’s a fantastic stress relief, and the list of benefits just goes on and on.

However, despite all the benefits of working out you CAN get “too much” of a good thing. Some people are so obsessed with working out and bragging about how they “Workout Everyday” that it takes over their life.

I know people who actually get stressed out if something comes up and they can’t workout for a few days. They fear that they’ll become fat out of shape slobs and have their muscles melt away just like ice cream on a hot summers day.

I’ve even gotten e-mails from guys who were afraid to go on a family vacation because it would take away from their gym time. In my opinion that’s going too far and borderline obsession. We workout and keep fit to enhance our life, not to have working out consume our life.

The Different Phases Of Training

I remember several years back reading an article written by 3 time Mr. Olympia, Frank Zane. In the article Frank was talking about how no body can grow and make gains nonstop forever. He went on to say that there will always be phases where you are growing, other phases where you are just maintaining, and even phases where you just need to take a break and rest.

He compared bodybuilding training to the seasons in nature. The spring and summer is the peak growing phase. The fall is the harvesting phase (reap the rewards), and the winter is the rest phase.

Your workouts need to go through similar types of phases. No body can push it 100% and grow nonstop 365 days a year. And if you try to force it, your body will fight back and you’ll experience things like overtraining, plateaus, and maybe even get sick or injured.

With my own training I don’t always have things planned out and structured perfectly, but I do cycle though different types of training phases.

For example;
During the months leading up to a bodybuilding competition I’m in serious training and will push myself 100% and be very consistent with my training, nutrition, etc. This is when I’ll put on my blinders so to speak and have tunnel vision focusing my full attention on achieving my training goals. During this phase I’ll make my best progress.

However, right after the contest I’ll usually take a few days or even a week off from working out completely to give my mind and body a rest. Then when I resume training I’ll just take it easy in the gym, mainly doing active recovery type of training. This down time is a much welcomed break especially after months of strict dieting and hard training.

After about a month of taking it easy I’ll usually start to get into a more serious off season “power bodybuilding” workouts. During this phase I’ll focus my training around basic hardcore workouts in effort to gain muscular bodyweight and size.

For most bodybuilders this off season “power-bodybuilding” phase is where they’ll spend most of their training time. But even within this phase there will be ups and downs in your training. Again, no one can give it 100% and make nonstop gains forever.

Most advanced guys will find that they can push it hard and make really good gains for about 6 weeks or so. After that they’ll start to plateau. When this happens the best thing to do is switch to less intense workout program for a couple weeks, also known as a “cruising phase”. This will allow your mind and body to get some active recovery before you crank up the intensity again for another 6 week hardcore training phase.

Most advanced guys can push it hard and make really good gains for about 6 weeks before hitting a plateau.

After a few months of consistent training I even recommend taking a full week off from the gym entirely. Just like I did with my mini-vacation to Niagara Falls. This will benefit you both mentally and physically.

First off, it will allow your body to fully rest and recover from your workouts. Any little aches and pains that you may have from training usually ease up within a week off from the gym. It also gives your mind a break and will make you hungry to train even harder when you resume working out again.

In my case I usually travel away from home 3-4 times each year (usually for a week at a time) and I’ll use these trips as my mini-breaks away from the gym. But even if you don’t travel that often, you can purposely schedule a week off from the gym every few months.

I like to compare it to how our school system is scheduled. School starts off fresh each September, then after a few months they have a winter break (usually over the Christmas holidays), after another few months they have spring break, and then they finish off with a summer vacation before repeating the entire cycle again. No body would ever want to go though 52 weeks a year of nonstop schooling without a break. And the same applies to your workouts as well.

Even though it may seem like you’ll lose muscle from taking a break, trust me you won’t. Muscle isn’t that fragile, it isn’t going to disappear if you take a week away from the gym. In fact that mini-break maybe just the thing you need to rejuvenate your body, renew your training motivation, and help take your physique to the next level of muscular development.

In my latest e-book “Blast Your Biceps” I cover this stuff in more detail and actually structure the training phases of the program to include mini-breaks away from the gym to help you fully maximize your overall muscle gains.

I highly recommend you pick up and copy, if you haven’t already done so. Even though “Blast Your Biceps” is an “arm specialization” program, it still focuses on building size and strength throughout your entire body. One of the key principles that I teach here is that in order to build bigger arms, you have to get bigger and stronger all over. And that’s exactly what this program will help you do.

This is a video clip from behind the scenes of our photo shoot the day after the Atlantic Canadian Bodybuilding Championships.

I’m super happy with how these pics turned out, even though I only placed 6th out of a very tough light-heavyweight class of 10 competitors, I was still pleased. This is the best and most ripped I’ve ever been.

Take a couple minutes and check it out, it’s pretty cool to see the whole “behind the scenes” of the photo shoot and how we go about getting the kick ass pics!

I’ve been getting tons of e-mail lately from my website followers asking me about my diet and training leading up to this show and how I got so ripped…

And the secret this time around was following a low carb diet plan with strategic “carb & fat load” re-feed meals spaced in during the week. This was the easiest diet I’ve ever followed and it worked awesome. I was able to get in my most shredded contest shape ever and maintain almost all of my strength and muscle in the process.

In fact I’ve outlined in detail everything that I’ve done in preparation for this show with regards to the exact diet plan I used, the exact supplements I took, and the exact workouts I followed to blast away bodyfat and get ripped in my New DVD program:

Extreme Fat Loss:
How To Get Ripped To The Bone Shredded In Record Time.

Now I have to warn you…
This Is NOT Your Typical Beginners “Eat Right & Exercise” Fat Loss Program.

If You Are Already In Good Shape Now, But Want To Step It Up To The Next Level & Get In Awesome Shape. Then This Is The Advanced Fat Loss Program For You!

If one of your bodybuilding & fitness goals is to get ripped in time for hitting the beach and pool parties this summer, then you need to start training for it NOW!

And the “Extreme Fat Loss” program is your shortcut to getting that ripped beach body. Heck, I’m living proof that this stuff produces FAST Results! So why not give it a shot for yourself?

This is a killer video of my first heavy workout since the Atlantic Classic Bodybuilding Contest.
We did a hardcore back “challenge” workout!

There were 4 BIG dudes training together:
- Big Luke who is 245 pounds and built like a tank!
- Dave “The Muscle Cook” Ruel at a ripped 230 pounds!
- Big Remi at a lean and powerful 217 pounds!
- And myself, the little man of the group, at just 207 pounds

We would start each exercise with a warm up weight and
then go one after the other, each set adding more weight to
the bar and keep going until we hit failure and had to drop out.
Each exercise we did was a competition to see who could lift the
most weight or bang out the most reps!

Let me tell you, this kind of training motivation and competition
will drive you to give it 100%, after all none of us wanted to be
considered a pussy and finish last!

This is part 1 of 2 of our challenge workout.
I’ll be posting up part 2 in a day or so.

It’s your muscle building coach Lee Hayward here and my good
friend Dave “The Muscle Cook” Ruel and I are back in the gym
and taking advantage of the post bodybuilding contest rebound…

Just in case you are not familiar with the whole concept of
the post “bodybuilding competition rebound” this is how it works.

Basically when you have been on a calorie restricted diet for
months on end and then all of a sudden get a huge influx of
calories (i.e. pigging out after the show) This fills out
your muscles with water, glycogen, and nutrients. It also
sends your body’s natural anabolic hormones into over drive!

To give you an idea of just how extreme this can be. I weighed
187 pounds this past Saturday after cutting water for the
Atlantic Classic bodybuilding show. On Monday, just 48 hours
later, I’m back up to 207 pounds! A full 20 pound gain in 2 days!

Granted most of this weight gain is water, but my muscles are so
full and tight that I’m getting insane pumps in the gym. It’s
almost like my muscles are going to explode!

I just posted up a YouTube video of our first workout after
the show: Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps. We also hit a few
poses afterwards and we’ve got crazy muscle fullness and
vascularity!

================================

P.S.
Stay tuned because tomorrow I’m going to be posting up
a killer YouTube video of a hardcore “challenge” workout…

There were 4 BIG dudes training together:
- Big Luke who is 245 pounds and built like a tank!
- And myself, the little man of the group, at just 207 pounds

What a weekend here in Moncton New Brunswick…

It was the BIGGEST Atlantic Canadian Bodybuilding Competition ever with over 80 competitors total. I’ve never been apart of such a high caliber show before so it was quite an experience.

I was down to a ripped and dry 187 pounds on Saturday morning. That’s the leanest I’ve ever been. But even though I was in the best shape of my life and really pleased with everything. I still wasn’t at the level needed to hang with the more experienced competitors on stage. There were 10 guys in the light-heavyweight class and I placed 6th.

However, I was awarded the best posing routine of the night. That was an unexpected surprise because there were A LOT of competitors. So I was really happy with that, I worked hard on my posing and the judges could see it as well. So now I’ve got another kick ass trophy to add to the collection!

My girlfriend Patricia also competed in the figure division and she placed 2nd in the medium height class and 2nd in the masters (over 35) class. We’re both really happy with this because it was her first time doing figure and she did really well.

On Sunday we did a photo shoot with our friend Serge Bordage at his Megaflex Gym. I haven’t seen all the pics yet, but I know there are going to be some awesome shots. Serge is a bodybuilder himself and knows how to get some killer photos.

I’ve posted some of the sample ones that Serge put up on Facebook here below…

I’ll add more pics as I get them. I’ll also be adding some contest stage pics as well as they come in.

The whole point of a bodybuilding / figure competition is to simply get in your own personal best shape. We use the show as a goal with a deadline and then give it 100%. Obviously, no one can control who else shows up to a contest, all you can do is be at your best and let the chips fall where they may.

Even though we never won, it doesn’t matter. We still achieved massive success by getting in our best shape ever. And the best part is that this Thursday we are going to enjoy the fruits of our labors by taking a much deserved beach vacation to Cuba.

We may not have had the best bodies on stage this weekend, but none the less we’ll be in killer shape for the beach in Cuba!

======================

If you would like to know the exact diet and training program that both Patricia and I followed to get in our best contest shape ever. Then I have it all outlined in my brand new DVD program called “Extreme Fat Loss” which you can get at: http://www.leehayward.com/dvd

I’m really happy with everything. This is the best shape
I’ve ever been in, so regardless of the outcome of the
show I’ve achieved my personal goal.

But the best part is that the week after the show I’m heading
down to Cuba with a bunch of friends for a much needed vacation,
and I’m going to be the most ripped dude on the beach LOL

I think being ripped for the beach is going to be a heck of a lot
more fun then being ripped for a bodybuilding contest

I’m a big believer of taking progress pictures of yourself on a regular basis whenever you undertake a “Physique Transformation”.

Regardless of what your goal is…
Be it getting six pack abs for a beach vacation, or to look your best so you can take your shirt off at the pool parties this summer, or getting in shape for a wedding, or maybe you want to take it all the way and step on the bodybuilding contest stage. Whatever it is your are training for, you need to have visual feedback of your progress along the way.

Bottom line, taking progress pics will let you know if what you are doing is working or not, the camera doesn’t lie!

It also breaks down your big physique transformation goal into several little stepping stone goals. For example, each time you take progress pics you want to look better then your previous set of pics. And if you keep doing that week, after week, after week… Before you know it you’ll be a totally different person physique wise.

Just to show you how dramatic this process actually is, just take a look at my pics below…

The first one was taken on December 14, 2009 when I was just 2 weeks into my pre-contest diet for the 2010 Atlantic Canadian Bodybuilding Championships. The second pic was taken March 14, 2010. Exactly 3 months later, as you can see there is a HUGE difference! And the cool thing is I still have another month of dieting to tighten up even more before my contest!

So when you undertake your own Physique Transformation I hope you’ll take my advice and track your progress with pictures along the way.

And if you’d like to have a complete step-by-step nutritional system to follow to help you make a dramatic “Before” and “After” physique transformation, you should pick up a copy of the “Anabolic Cooking” program at:

Below are some progress pics that I took this weekend…

I’ve posted more pics on my FaceBook Fan Page. Click Here To See The Full Album.

I’m very pleased with how things are going. I’ve been following a low carb diet plan with strategic “carb & fat load” re-feed meals spaced in during the week and it’s really working well for me. I’ve been getting leaner and more ripped each week and I’ve been able to maintain strength and muscle in the process.

In fact I’ve outlined in detail everything that I’ve been doing in preparation for this show with regards to the exact diet plan I’m following, the exact supplements I’m taking, and the exact workouts I’m doing to blast away bodyfat and get ripped in my New DVD program:

Extreme Fat Loss:

This is a video blog of my fat loss progress at the 7 week out mark leading up to the 2010 Atlantics…

I’m really pleased with how things are going thus far and with 7 weeks of hardcore dieting to go I’m shooting to be as lean as a skinned rabbit on stage.

My weight is staying consistent, currently 206 pounds, but I’m getting leaner. That’s mainly due to the killer carb cycling strategy that I cover in my bodybuilding contest prep book. It allows you to strip away bodyfat while building lean mass at the same time.

One thing that I cover here in this video clip is a question that I get asked all the time:

“Lee, what’s your bodyfat percentage?”

So I actually measured my bodyfat percentage right on the video. But you are in for a surprise…
You’ll have to watch to see

I just thought I’d through this pic up. It was taken down in my rec-room after I got home from doing cardio this morning. I’m currently 204 pounds at 8 weeks and 4 days out from the 2010 Atlantic Canadian Bodybuilding Championships.

I ran the indoor track at the university today for my morning cardio workout. I alternated walking a lap, and running a lap, and continued doing this non stop for a full hour while I cranked the tunes in my MP3 player.

In addition to following a strict diet and hard weight training workouts, I find that nothing strips the fat away like cardio done first thing in the morning before eating. So if you’re looking to lose some of that stubborn bodyfat I’d highly recommend you give it a try.

P.S.
If you are looking for a complete killer fat loss program that will help you carve out those ripped six pack abs and get down to a SINGLE DIGIT bodyfat percentage. Then I highly recommend you check out my buddy John Romaniello’s advanced fat-blasting program “Final Phase Fat Loss”

This isn’t some basic beginners diet and exercise 101 type of program. But rather this is geared towards serious fitness enthusiasts who are already working out regularly, who are already in pretty good shape now, but who want to take things to the next level and get in AWESOME Shape!

So if you are looking to kick your training up a notch, and get those ripped six pack abs just in time to hit the beach or pool this summer, why not give this program a shot? Trust me you won’t be disappointed…
