Do you take “Before” and “After” pictures?

I’m a big believer of taking progress pictures of yourself on a regular basis whenever you undertake a “Physique Transformation”.

Regardless of what your goal is…
Be it getting six pack abs for a beach vacation, or to look your best so you can take your shirt off at the pool parties this summer, or getting in shape for a wedding, or maybe you want to take it all the way and step on the bodybuilding contest stage. Whatever it is your are training for, you need to have visual feedback of your progress along the way.

Bottom line, taking progress pics will let you know if what you are doing is working or not, the camera doesn’t lie!

It also breaks down your big physique transformation goal into several little stepping stone goals. For example, each time you take progress pics you want to look better then your previous set of pics. And if you keep doing that week, after week, after week… Before you know it you’ll be a totally different person physique wise.

Just to show you how dramatic this process actually is, just take a look at my pics below…

The first one was taken on December 14, 2009 when I was just 2 weeks into my pre-contest diet for the 2010 Atlantic Canadian Bodybuilding Championships. The second pic was taken March 14, 2010. Exactly 3 months later, as you can see there is a HUGE difference! And the cool thing is I still have another month of dieting to tighten up even more before my contest!

Bodyfat Percentage 7 Weeks Out…

This is a video blog of my fat loss progress at the 7 week out mark leading up to the 2010 Atlantics…

I’m really pleased with how things are going thus far and with 7 weeks of hardcore dieting to go I’m shooting to be as lean as a skinned rabbit on stage.

My weight is staying consistent, currently 206 pounds, but I’m getting leaner. That’s mainly due to the killer carb cycling strategy that I cover in my bodybuilding contest prep book. It allows you to strip away bodyfat while building lean mass at the same time.

One thing that I cover here in this video clip is a question that I get asked all the time:

“Lee, what’s your bodyfat percentage?”

So I actually measured my bodyfat percentage right on the video. But you are in for a surprise…
You’ll have to watch to see ;-)

This is how I get ripped for a contest…

Last night we had a kick butt Total Fitness Bodybuilding Talk Show and during the show I covered some advanced fat loss tips and tricks that I’ve been using over the past couple months as I’ve been getting ready for my next bodybuilding show.

Even I’m surprised at how fast this is working. I’m literally getting leaner and more ripped by the day!

This is a pic that was taken this morning (Feb. 19, 2010) after my workout.

Imagine how cool it would be to hit the beach or the pool this summer and be in this kind of shape? In fact I’m going to go on a beach vacation down south with a bunch of friends right after the bodybuilding show this spring.

Heck, I think I’m looking forward to being ripped at the beach more so then being ripped on the bodybuilding contest stage… I know I’ll have more fun at the beach ;-)
