New Video – Advanced Bodybuilding Supplements

Lee Hayward - Muscle Building Coach Hey it’s Lee Hayward here and I just posted up the 5th part of my on going
“Bodybuilding Supplements Review Guide Video Series”

In this 5th video I’m going to focus on covering some
advanced muscle building and fat loss supplements. These
are things you can use to help maximize your gains in
the gym, and take your physique to the next level.

However, I would suggest that you start with my previous 4 Bodybuilding Supplement Review Guide Videos first… (I’ve got links to them at the bottom of this post.)

The first 4 videos contain basic foundational supplements that you need to use in order for these “Advanced Supplements” to have their full effect on improving your athletic performance.

Just click PLAY to see the “Advanced Bodybuilding Supplements” that I use myself and recommend to my personal coaching students…

After you watch it, please leave me a comment with your feedback. Also if there are any supplements that you would like for me to cover in a future video, please let me know in the comments section.

Great tips Lee …. you didn’t mention how much you take of the NO product as well as the Xtend or the stack ….. I have used all of the products you covered but was curious on what amounts you take .. I am 6′ 1″ and weigh 228 …. what would you suggest …..?

Hi Lee, thanks for the free advice. If you like the pre-workout supplements and like to try new stuff……..Amplify from agxsports.com is pretty wicked. I personally like it better than some of the ones you mentioned. It’s in pill form. All I can say is don’t take it for evening workouts or you won’t be going to bed, lol.

Hey Lee isnt that too much caffeine because I thought your supposed to lay off other stimulants when using NO2 boosters because it would help build a tolerance to the NO2 booster faster when stacking caffeine

    Hey lee,
All these supplements come in a powder form but what about some that come in the pill form? Will I get the same results -geens or NOX2 maybe even a creating pill? By the way thanks for the info. The sales guys at the supplement stores just give u the run around so they can make a quick buck.
    Keep it real!!!

Just follow the labels for the instructions on how much to take. That’s all I do with these products.

Like I mentioned there are A LOT of different brands out there. Everyone will have their favorites.

  • Hey Lee isnt that too much caffeine because I thought your supposed to lay off other stimulants when using NO2 boosters because it would help build a tolerance to the NO2 booster faster when stacking caffeine

It’s personal preference. Use your own judgement on this one. But I like to have the ephedrine and caffeine along with a NO2 drink pre workout when training for fat loss.

  • lee i was wondering about Ephedrine. i heard it causes heart attacks and that it is not healthy to take. i was wondering if there is a certain dose you take which is healthy. thanks

The FDA has flagged ephedrine as the “bad guy” but when you actually do the research it’s not as bad as they make it out to be.

To put it in perspective there have been approx. 300 people total world wide who have died from ephedrine…

While over 2,000 people die “every single year” from over the counter pain killers. Ephedrine gets a bad media rap, over the counter pain killers do not… I think something is messed up here.

But that’s the FDA, if they really cared about people’s health do you think cigarettes and booze would still be legal… It’s a money and media publicity racket. They put restrictions on ephedrine and make themselves look good in the publics eye, but it really doesn’t solve any of the major problems.

I made this video from the requests of my followers. People asked me what my opinion was of these products and I gave it to them. I tell it like it is, simple as that.

I mentioned in the video that these are “Advanced Supplements” they are not must have products, you can still workout and make progress without them. But for those people who are looking to maximize their gains in the gym then these supplements can help.

Generally buying products in powder form is cheaper and easier to consume.

Animal is a good product line, but honestly I don’t really have a favorite brand when it comes to most supplements. There are a lot of products and brands that all work equally as well.

  • leee if i take superpump for 12 weeks than go on no explode for 12 weeks is tht safee

The thing I mentioned about the 12 week study doesn’t mean that these products are “unsafe” after 12 weeks. It just means that they haven’t been tested longer than that.

But going from one brand to another doesn’t change anything, it’s still all the same basic ingredients. Just for the record I’ve been using NO2 drinks consistently for about 10 months straight now and I haven’t had anything but positive results to report.

Hi lee im very keen to give these products a try but after checking through the ingredients some of these products already contain Creatine, so how does that affect me with my current creatine usage and what about the time when we are supposed to take a break from Creatine?

  • Hello Lee, I liked your article and video of your post. Honestly tell you I don’t use body supplements and other tonics and drugs for the good body. Many friends of mine had suggested me to take body supplements but I refused their suggestions due to side-effects. But after reading your post and viewing the video of your blogs. I think, I should try it once. But still I have fear and confusion in my mind. Please kindly solve my confuse mind. Just answer is there is any kind of side effects or not?

  • Get video Lee, thanks

I do not think ephedrine is all that bad. Sure there are cases when it is contraindicated but that goes for practically anything you put into your body.

I would like to know how much ephedrine those people took that died from it or what other health issues they may of had.

    Thanks for the great information.

Hey lee i see that you have a link to jeff anderson’s make your own supplements at home. I was wondering if you have tried it and what you think of the idea?

with your fat loss diet and eating carbs after a work out only, is it still ok when you workout in the evenin after work and eat supper at 8 or 9 at night? ( iam also a endo morph body type and seen the same idea in you body type article)

    Have fun in vegas

I personally still use creatine monohydrate at 5 grams per day, even if there is creatine in some of the NO2 drinks as well.

You should watch the previous 4 videos I have on supplements, I do into a fair bit of detail about side effects, or lack there of…

I agree, those guys must have overdosed like crazy or combined it with alcohol and other drugs to get a lethal dose.

Yes, I have a copy of Jeff Anderson’s program and it contains a lot of killer info. Jeff actually breaks down many of these major name brand products into their active ingredients and then shows you how you can go and buy the individual ingredients separately and “Make Your Own Supplements” for a lot less money.

It’s definitely worth checking out at: http://www.HomeMadeSupplements.net

And as for eating carbs post workout, you can do this even if you workout late at night. The whole idea of not eating carbs late at night does NOT apply if you workout at night.

Thanks so much for posting these videos, Lee. Folks don’t often get real opinion and information like this, directly from an experienced bodybuilder, at least not without first paying a fee. We appreciate it. Best of luck!

  • Interesting look into your preferences of supplements. It seems like side effects and results vary from individual to individual. For energy, I am using some Bev Intl. products. Only 2 weeks in, no complaints so far. I tried Jacked in the past, made me too jittery on my 4’11” frame, lol!
